The Merriman’s Culinary Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)3 organization established over 20 years ago. Its primary mission is to pay tuition to culinary schools for Hawaii residents in need. In light of the West Maui fires, all donations to MCSF for the next 6 months will go directly to feed the people of west Maui and provide support to our team members who lost their homes or are in especially challenging financial situations due to the fire in Lahaina on August 8, 2023.

Money raised through this fund will be split evenly between the Australian Red Cross and the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital. The Australian Red Cross- Since July 2019, Red Cross teams have responded to 30 emergencies and supported well over 20,000 people, through the efforts of more than 1,600 volunteers and staff. Since 2018 Silver Stallion has established or helped establish 14 middle school mountain bike P.E. programs in the region with Outride "Riding 4 Focus." Along with that effort the Stallion started the Gallup and Navajo-Diné Composite NICA middle and high school mountain bike teams Since 2019, in partnership and with continued support from Durango Devo, Silver Stallion established DEVO/CLUB Rides program with Gallup McKinley County Schools now taking place at 4 middle schools on the Navajo Nation (Thoreau, Crownpoint, Tohatchi, Navajo). During the Pandemic Silver Stallion established “Big Blue” Mobile Ride Center truck providing Free Bike Repair events, Park Tool School Education and Free Bikes 4 Kidz distribution in remote communities throughout the Navajo Nation. Silver Stallion is partnered with Project Bike Tech establishing and supporting high school mechanic programs throughout the region.

The organization works with communities around the world to plant and protect mangrove and kelp forests, seagrass meadows, coral reefs, and coastal watersheds. The regeneration and protection of these ecosystems provide critical habitat for countless species, sustainable long-term employment for local communities, and protect communities from storm surges and sea-level rise.
Nurse Heroes seeks to provide every nurse with the resources and opportunities they need and create a future without a shortage of nurses. As an accelerating shortage of nurses around the world exists, if nothing changes within three years we will have about 1 million fewer nurses than we require in the United States and a shortage of 2 million nurses in Europe. It is a similar trend globally. The organization is committed to informing and inspiring the world to help create a future without a shortage of nurses and nurse practitioners, celebrating nurses through the arts with celebrity concert series, monthly art contests, and nurse choir performances.
