Our mission is to reduce poverty by providing financial assistance directly to those in need. We aim to do so efficiently, making the most of every dollar; transparently, with a clear commitment to how each dollar is used; and respectfully, letting people choose how to help themselves.

UNC-Chapel Hill has had an ice hockey team since 1974 when enough of a demand called for the creation of a club team. In our 42 years as a club we have made it to the point where we are practicing twice a week and play a schedule in the ACCHL thats consists of nearly 30 games each season.

Their mission is to fight hunger by engaging, educating empowering our community. As one of the largest Food Banks in the southeast, distributing more than 50 million pounds of food annually, they provide food primarily to children and youth (about 50%), but food recipients also include low-income families, senior citizens and the homeless. 95% of total budget is used toward programs. The Food Bank also operates several community projects to aid our agencies in community building, technical assistance and advocacy efforts.

Sakura House is a residential hospice house for Oxford County residents run by VON Oxford. VON OXFORD is a non-profit, charitable, health care organization offering services to help people remain as independent as possible. VON has been providing quality health care and support services in Oxford County since 1914.

Feed More collects, prepares and distributes food to neighbors in need across 34 cities and counties in Central Virginia. Through comprehensive programs and a network of nearly 300 agencies, Feed More helps ensure our communities have access to healthy meals year round. Feed More is a proud member of Feeding America and Meals on Wheels America. FeedMore's mission is to fight hunger in Central Virginia.

One Family aims to prevent homelessness and break the cycle of family poverty in Massachusetts by promoting pathways to economic independence through advocacy, education, and innovation.

JHPIEGO enhances the health and lives of women and families in low-resource settings JHPIEGO works to empower front-line health workers in developing countries by implementing effective, low-cost, hands-on solutions to strengthen the delivery of health care for women and their families in low-resource settings by establishing evidence-based health innovations into everyday health care settings, JHPIEGO works to break down barriers to high-quality health care for the world's most vulnerable.

The Jed Foundation works nationally to promote emotional health and prevent suicide in student populations. To achieve this end, the organization collaborates with the public and leaders in higher education, mental health, and research to produce and advance initiatives that: Decrease the stigma surrounding emotional disorders and increase help-seeking in college and other student populations Increase understanding of the warning signs of suicide and the symptoms of emotional disorders among students Build awareness of the prevalence of suicide and emotional disorders among students Strengthen campus mental health services, policies, and programs

Second Stride is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization providing professional rehabilitation, retraining, and placement for transitioning thoroughbred racehorses and retired or non race candidate bloodstock horses in qualified homes so that they may reach their full potential in a productive second career.

Saint David's is an elementary school for boys of all faiths whose parents seek a school program rooted in the moral and theological traditions of the Catholic Church. Pupils are admitted to Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Eight. The school is located at Twelve East Eighty-ninth Street in Manhattan. 

The Edward M Kennedy Institute is committed to invigorating public discourse, encouring participatory democracy, and inspiring the next generation of citizens and leaders to engage in the public square. The facility will be a dynamic center for non-partisan learnings and engagement that will utilize cutting edge technology to provide each visited with an information rich and personalized experience. 

Fiji Dental and Medical Foundation, Inc.'s mission is to promote dental and medical health in the Mamanuca island chain of Fiji through prevention education, and restoration. The organization's primary program provides dental and medical clinics.
