Mission: We are dedicated to providing supplemental food assistance to individual and families facing food insecurity while foster a community of support dignity and hope. The Carson Valley Community Food Closet is the primary provider of food assistance in Douglas County, we distribute over a million pounds of food annually in partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada (FBNN). We serve the community through food distributions, offering groceries, fresh produce, meat, dairy, hygiene items, holiday assistance, and pet food, as available. ​

Ascend empowers girls through mountaineering based leadership development and community engagement. Our holistic program creates pathways for girls to discover their strengths and reach their potential.

TransSOCIAL, Inc.'s mission is to expand safe and affirming resources for our Trans, gender expansive and Intersex community. We are Trans-led and provide direct services including legal name and gender marker change assistance, ID updates, affirming medical and mental health referrals, peer support groups and social events, and TLGBQ+ Cultural Sensitivity Training to businesses and organizations to help them create safe spaces for our community.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's mission is to find a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF) and to improve the quality of life for people living with the disease. We accomplish this by funding life-saving research and working to provide access to quality care and effective therapies for people with CF. Our work has contributed to doubling the life expectancy for people with CF beyond the age of 18, and increasing the availability of nearly every CF drug through the Foundation's support.

Pet Rescue And Adoption Is Primary Purpose. Adopt-A-Pet, Inc. also provides medical care and spays and neuters all adoptable animals.

Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats is California's only 100% feral cat rescue and socialization facility. As shelter interventionists, we focus our attention on the most vulnerable of felines -- feral cats and kittens. Our one hundred weekly volunteers, who use force-free socialization techniques, take street cats from 'hiss to home'. Each year, through TNR and Working Cat programs, we place a thousand feral cats in safe locations, and intake hundreds of feral kittens. As a 501c3, we rely on community donations and support. Only through working together can we continue to offer life saving services to LA's abandoned cats and kittens. Change a cat's life, today through a donation. Hospice of the Hospice of the Western Reserve provides palliative end-of-life care, caregiver support, and bereavement services throughout Northern Ohio. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's mission is to cure multiple sclerosis while empowering people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) to live their best lives. The organization pledges to accelerate cures through global leadership, and improve access to personalized, affordable, high-quality MS healthcare. It empowers people affected by MS to solve everyday challenges and strengthens the MS movement through more and deeper connections.

THE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES. IT ADMINISTERS CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED AND DISTRIBUTES GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER CHARITABLE DISBURSEMENTS.
