Wildlife in Crisis is a volunteer run, non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife preservation and land conservation. Founded in 1988, each year WIC cares for over 5,000 injured and orphaned wild animals. WIC relies entirely on donations to care for debilitated wildlife. The New England Grassroots Environment Fund (Grassroots Fund) seeks to energize and nurture long term civic engagement in local initiatives that create and maintain healthy, just, safe and environmentally sustainable communities. The Fund uses stories, tools and dollars to fuel local activism and social change.

Mission: The purposes of the Blackbird Foundation, formerly known as 'Alik'alak'wa'ishe, are to create and operate a Chumash Indian religious, educational and cultural center and to enable children to learn traditional, academic, environmental and culturally relevant subjects and to raise and provide funds for the support of, and to carry on, the forgoing and other charitable activities. Forest Trends' mission is to conserve forests and other ecosystems through the creation and wide adoption of a broad range of environmental finance, markets, and other payment and incentive mechanisms. Forest Trends does so by: 1) Providing transparent information on ecosystem values, finance, and markets through knowledge acquisition, analysis, and dissemination; 2) convening diverse coalitions, partners and communities of practice to promote environmental values and advance development of new markets and payment mechanisms; and 3) demonstrating successful tools, standards, and models of innovative finance for conservation.

Creative Materials & Resources By The Pound The St. Louis Teachers’ Recycle Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping creative materials and reusable resources out of landfills and putting them in the hands of children, teachers, artists and others for creative and intellectual development.
