Guided by the generosity of the Country Music community, the CMA Foundation focuses on improving and sustaining music education programs everywhere while supporting worthwhile causes important to the Country Music Association.  

In 2007, the Playing for Change Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music. Our mission is to create positive change through music and arts education. 15 music programs have been created in Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Mali, Nepal, Rwanda, South Africa, Morocco, Mexico, Argentina and Thailand. More than 2,000 young people attend free classes in dance, instruments, languages and musical theory, all taught by qualified local teachers. Learning music has been shown to increase self-esteem and foster resilience, which is critically important to children who are vulnerable due to poverty, conflict, drugs, and neglect.

The Foundation's goal is to provide the ultimate environment for a child to become their best in all areas of their life, including academic, athletic, interpersonal skills, leadership, as a mentor, and someone willing to be mentored. They hope to arm children with a variety of ways to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, and in their relationships with themselves and others. Their program is designed to go deeper into the subjects of life, excellence, and how to pursue happiness. In the end, our long-term goal is to help them become professionals in life, to find peace of mind, so they can share this wisdom with their families, friends, and communities as leaders and examples of extraordinary living and happiness.

The St. Pete Free Clinic's mission is with compassion and respect, St. Pete Free Clinic changes lives by providing health care, nutritious food, recovery housing, and education for our neighbors in need. SPFC’s programs support health equity by providing nutritious food for those who need it, increasing access to healthcare, helping those recovering from substance use with stable housing and support, and educating our community. Young Leaders is a leadership program that motivates a diverse community of young professionals to take action for social justice and human rights. Compass facilitates discussions of sustainable investing criteria among institutional investors, enabling them to understand how social, environmental, governance, and human rights considerations can mitigate investment risk. Legacy introduces Robert F. Kennedy's remarkable life and career to a new generation through exhibits, classroom materials, and the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Book and Journalism Awards.

Operation Surf’s curriculum-based programs aim to inspire injured military and veterans to seek wellness in all aspects of their lives while providing the necessary resources, tools, and peer-to-peer support to continue this mindset indefinitely. The American Theatre Wing advances the future of American theatre by celebrating excellence and nurturing the next generation: on stage, behind the scenes, and in the audience. We pursue this mission through programs that support theatrical excellence and inclusivity, and educate and engage the next generation of practitioners and audiences. WhyHunger believes a world without hunger is possible. They provide critical resources to support grassroots movements and fuel community solutions rooted in social, environmental, racial and economic justice. They are working to end hunger and advance the human right to nutritious food in the U.S. and around the world.

IFP champions the future of storytelling by connecting artists with vital resources at all stages of development and distribution. IFP fosters a vibrant and sustainable independent storytelling community, represents a growing network of 10,000 storytellers around the world, and plays a key role in developing 350 new film, television, digital, audio, and immersive works each year. IFP guides storytellers through the process of making and distributing their work. Creative, technological and business support are provided through year-round programming including Filmmaker Magazine, IFP Week, IFP Gotham Awards, and IFP Labs. Member and public programming takes place at the IFP Made in NY Media Center with classes, workshops, pitching forums, screenings, meet-ups and exhibitions.

The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity was established by Elie Wiesel and his wife, Marion, shortly after he was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize for Peace. The Foundation's mission, rooted in the memory of the Holocaust, is to advance the cause of human rights by creating forums for the discussion and resolution of urgent ethical issues.
