Healthy ecosystems underpin everything that humanity needs, but 75% of our Earth is degraded. Climate Disruption, the biodiversity crisis, desertification, flooding, loss of livelihoods, poverty and hunger are directly linked to collapsing ecosystems. Humanity is degrading and depleting its most important resource: functioning natural systems. The need for addressing these crises and for a change to a resilient, regenerative and sustainable co-existence with our natural world is understood. Yet, worldwide, people feel powerless to turn the tide. In response, we are catalyzing a global movement to restore and rehabilitate our degraded ecosystems and change the way we live with nature through introducing regenerative productive systems. Ecosystem Restoration Camps ("ERC") is a global, inclusive, bottom-up movement. We catalyse action towards restoring and rehabilitating natural systems to maintain the web of life. We do this by facilitating the emergence of Camps around the world. Camps are living labs where local communities, lay people, experts and scientists come together to restore and rehabilitate degraded ecosystems. Camps empower local communities to restore their environments and livelihoods by providing them with the tools, skills, and knowledge to bring back abundance and increase their resilience. OUR VISION: We envision a fully-functional, peaceful, abundant, biologically diverse Earth brought about through cooperative efforts for the ecological restoration of degraded lands. OUR MISSION: To work together to restore ecological functionality, to build Research, Training and Innovation Centers for Ecological Restoration, to engage people in inquiry into ecological restoration, and train people in how to restore degraded lands in perpetuity. OBJECTIVES - To train people in techniques for restoring land and provide practical opportunities for people to practice new approaches to landscape restoration. - To build research, training and innovation centers to engage people in ecosystem restoration. - To manage a flow of volunteers of all ages to restore agricultural and natural ecosystems. - To increase the organic matter, carbon content and water retention capacity of the soil to stimulate large scale carbon sequestration. - To improve the livelihoods of farmers, landowners and local communities around the camps. ERC Foundation works with an executive Board of Directors, a volunteer and financially responsible Supervisory Board and a strategic Advisory Council made by the world's leading experts in agroforestry, permaculture, regenerative farming, and ecosystem restoration. ERC is a supporting partner to the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.

Al Orman is an Egyptian non-profit, non-governmental, non-taxable organization. It was founded in 1993 and is registered under number 803 in the Ministry of Social Solidarity. It started off by serving orphans and offering humanitarian aid. Since its inception, the organization has been serving the neediest groups, through well-organized and sophisticated institutional work. It was, thus able to emphasize the role of the civil society in the country's economic and social development. The organization is serving those in need without any religious or political bias through providing its services in a progressive way that stresses the social and economic role of civil services. It depends primarily on financial funds from Egyptians whether living in Egypt or abroad.

Support the marginalised communities in Africa to over come the draw backs in health, education and socioeconomic status they are suffering from, through a community-based and human-centred approach. Depending mainly on income-generating projects from local resources, community members will be capable in the future to solve their own problems. That ensures the sustainability of development. We also raise Awareness about volunteering and create a sense of social responsibility throughout volunteering programs

Women Win's vision is that of a world in which every adolescent girl and young woman fully exercises her rights. Our mission is to advance the playing field that empowers girls through sport and play. Women Win is the global leader in girls and women's empowerment through sport. We leverage the power of play to help adolescent girls and young women build leadership skills and become better equipped to exercise their rights. Since 2007, we have impacted the lives of 2,822,400 adolescent girls and young women directly and indirectly in over 100 countries. This is possible thanks to collaborations with a wide variety of grassroots women's organisations, companies, development organisations, sports bodies and government agencies. Women Win currently supports initiatives in Asia, Africa, Middle East, North and South America. Our work is focused on empowering girls and young women through sport, emphasising the prevention of gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and economic empowerment. In practice this involves developing high quality specialised tools and curricula; delivering training and capacity building workshops; monitoring and evaluation tools and systems development; and providing strategic and programmatic support. Women Win invests in and manages a diverse portfolio of global partners with approximately 1.5 million euros of direct funding granted annually.

The association's sole and immediate purpose is to provide development aid and to help combat poverty and need in developing countries. The affected people should be given a dignified life and a sustainable improvement in their living conditions should be achieved. The activities of the association expressly exclude making a profit.

At ISA, we believe in the potential of the largest ever young generation. When young people have the motivation, the skills and the opportunities they will be able to make the change they want to see in their lives and in the places they live, study and work. Our programmes do exactly that. Why is this needed? Young people in the underserved communities we work, often lack safe spaces where they can team-up, there is a limited supply of positive activities to engage in, and there are few opportunities for young people to attain quality education or income opportunities. Together with community organisations, (youth) coaches and mentors, we're turning tables and by providing opportunities for young people to make a future for themselves and that of the entire community.

Background: After a tragic car accident in 2011 that resulted in having an 18 year old young teenager to be a wheelchair user; his mother along with a group of 13 friends decided to make a difference when it comes to physical disability in Egypt and the Middle East after the challenges they faced and still are. AIPC Pandora is a non-profit organization that works to generate the knowledge and the capacity of action needed at the international level for the construction of a more just and peaceful world. Misr Elkheir Foundation Biography MISR ELKHEIR FOUNDATION-(MEK) is an Egyptian NGO- Established in 20/5/2007; Registration with Ministry of Social solidarity is: 555/2007.The foundation is a developmental non-governmental organization mainly concerned with Human Development. Our Vision: To become a pioneering sustainable development organization to be heeded internationally. Our Mission: Comprehensive Human Development through the implementation of projects in order to diminish the levels of illness, poverty, hunger, illiteracy, and unemployment. The main goal of Misr ElKheir Foundation is human development, and thus seeks to achieve this through the development of six strategic units covering different aspects of Egyptian life. These are Social Solidarity, Life Aspects, Health, Education and Scientific Research; and Integrated Development Sector, which unifies all the efforts of the other sectors to tackle needs of poorest Base of the Pyramid communities. Through these areas, Misr ElKheir Foundation seeks to contribute positively and actively to eliminate unemployment, illiteracy, poverty and disease, and to make Egypt an inclusive society, which can grow and remain sustained on autopilot projects. MEK has an established institutional structure of more than 1000 employees, with the Board of Trustees at the tip of the pyramid, then cascading down to the Executive committee exercising control over the BOT Executive member CEO, who in turn heads all the six sectors plus the execution Unit and the HR and administration unit. The Execution is operational Unit such as containing Finance department, procurement, IT, legal, marketing & PR, fund raising, international cooperation, while HR and administration controls HR responsibilities and internal administrative procedures and services. In addition, it creates a generation aware of the importance of scientific research and innovation; and also empower entrepreneurships and incubate new ideas and prototypes through turning scientific research into an economical and a social value, complementing the foundation's vision, which revolves around human and social development; improving the quality of life. Integrated Development: This sector integrates the previous six strategic units and gears all efforts collectively into one location such as the 1000 poorest villages in Upper Egypt. CSR funds and donations collaborate efforts to assist development in designated areas of need targeting development of Educational facilities, Health & Medical convoys for screening, developing quality of life for citizens through inducing awareness about social issues, developing their economic standards through small businesses to suit the context whether agricultural, handicrafts, or vocational, and introducing innovative solutions to the needful villages.
