C.H.A.N.G.E. Enterprises, Inc. is a 501c3 educational, charitable, and research non-profit organization established with the mission to inspire, educate, and transform the lives of young people. In 1998, the club created the Foundation who’s mission is “To manage and grow the funds entrusted to it in a lawful manner and to make available charitable funding in perpetuity for qualified beneficiaries selected by the Rotary Club of Point West.” Since 1998, the Foundation has donated over $1.1 million to over one hundred worthy charitable causes in three broad categories: Organizations that create opportunity, enhance self esteem, and provide physical and moral support for vulnerable children; Programs that celebrate or promote community service; and Service activities of Rotary International and other Rotary clubs. Grants must finance a specific benevolent activity; requests for support of general operations (operating expenses) are not considered; and grants are made only to qualified 501 (c) (3) and other tax qualified organizations. ACES will be taking student athletes overseas on a cultural, educational, social and sports trip. These trips are geared toward showing the students that what they see in their daily lives isn't all the world has to offer. Using that new found understanding, it is ACES hope that the cycle of poverty, educational neglect, drugs, and other problems that these young men and women face will be broken and replaced with a new cycle of higher education, hard work, and an understanding that no matter their situation, they can be successful.
