Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland's charitable mission is to enable people to live independently at home through the provision of nutritious meals, personal contact and related services. By providing nutritious, home-delivered meals, personalized education and support services, and in-home care management, MOWCM impacts social, behavioral and environmental determinants of health resulting from isolation and poverty.

What began as a volunteer effort in 1910 has grown into an extensive campus offering retirement housing, assisted living, state-of-the-art nursing and rehab care, memory care and other services for seniors and their families. Today, more than 1,070 people make our campus in Rockville, Maryland, their home, and rely on the Charles E. Smith Life Communities for sophisticated inpatient rehabilitation, specialized memory care, nursing home services, senior housing, assisted living and outpatient medical care. We are also serving younger adults recovering from prolonged illnesses. Our programs are open to all in the community.

The primary mission of the Home is to enhance the retirement life of Virginia Masons and their families by providing a quality Life Plan Community or necessary in-home assistance and care through the Outreach Program.The Masonic Home embodies the Masonic principle of care for others. Masons obligate themselves to constantly care for others. For that purpose, members of the Masonic Fraternity founded this community of care in 1890 and continue to support it through their financial gifts and with their volunteer efforts.We operate a continuing care retirement community of 170-220 residents and support an in-home care program throughout Virginia.

The Virginia Home is a private, nonprofit 130-bed facility providing nursing, therapeutic and residential care to adult Virginians with irreversible physical disabilities. The Home exists to provide compassionate, professional care and to ensure that the lifelong comfort and security of these individuals will never be compromised, regardless of ability to pay. The staff develops and seeks to improve the physical, social and emotional lives of those living with a severe disabling condition, helping them to live active, meaningful lives.

Christian Living Communities enriches the quality and dignity of life for older adults, through services and care that reflect Christian love, respect, and compassion toward each individual.

The mission of Grace Diner is to serve the underserved in our community by providing diners with a free, three-course meal that is served with respect, in a warm, restaurant-style setting. Our goal is to continue to provide opportunities for growth of Grace Diner by offering additional services and serving more of the underserved at other locations in Culver City.

Our mission at Family Car Foundation Inc is to provide affordable car ownership to families seeking financial stability. We empower families seeking financial stability by providing car ownership and needs-based services to enhance their quality of life.
