Angel Flight West delivers health and hope using donated flights to serve those with healthcare or other compelling human needs. In the air, Angel Flight West links volunteer pilots and commercial airlines with people whose non-emergency health needs require air transportation to access care. On the ground, volunteer drivers ferry passengers to and from their departure and destination airports.

The Air Force Enlisted Village (AFEV) is a nonprofit organization whose core mission is to provide a safe, secure home for surviving spouses of retired enlisted U.S. Airmen. Located along the beautiful Emerald Coast of northwest Florida in Shalimar near Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field, apartments are available at Bob Hope Village, our independent living community, and at Hawthorn House, our assisted living and memory care residence located on the Bob Hope Village campus. Surviving spouses have come from all over the United States to live at Bob Hope Village and Hawthorn House. Residents of Bob Hope Village and Hawthorn House must be 55 years of age or older.

Food & Friends prepares and delivers medically tailored meals and groceries and provides nutrition counseling to people living with cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other serious illnesses who cannot reliably nourish themselves. Their services are provided free of charge and aim to improve clients’ health and reduce social isolation through nutrition and supportive outreach.

Open Table works to end hunger in its local communities by providing healthy, culturally appropriate groceries and prepared meals through an on-site pantry, mobile pantries, and delivery programs. Meals on Wheels of Wappingers Falls is a local volunteer-driven program that prepares and/or delivers low‑cost or donated meals to seniors and homebound residents of Wappingers Falls and nearby areas, helping address food insecurity and providing a regular wellness check and social contact. The program operates as one of several local “Meals on Wheels” providers in Dutchess County and works with local churches and the county Office for the Aging to reach eligible residents.

VNA Hospice & Palliative Care, part of VNA Care, improves the quality of life for individuals and their loved ones facing a life-limiting illness and loss. Our team provides physical, emotional, social, practical, and spiritual support tailored to each person’s needs and goals. Care is provided wherever a patient calls home, including private residences, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. VNA Hospice & Palliative Care also offers three home-like hospice residences (Elizabeth Evarts de Rham Hospice Home, Cambridge; Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester; and Stanley R. Tippett Hospice Home, Needham) for times when remaining at home is not possible. Our staff is dedicated to our mission to provide the right care with kindness and compassion every day for every person we serve.

ChildServe is a not-for-profit organization that partners with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life. Originally founded in 1928 as a convalescent home for children, today ChildServe provides specialized pediatric health care services to more than 2,000 children in Iowa. Through the support of private insurance, public funds, and the philanthropic efforts of the ChildServe Foundation, ChildServe offers accessible, family-centered care unique to each child’s needs, hopes, and dreams. Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona helps to preserve the health, dignity and independence of elderly and disabled adults by providing medically-tailored, home-delivered meals and daily contact with a caring volunteer. Homebound adults in Tucson, Green Valley and Sahuarita receive two meals a day, five days a week. Each meal is freshly prepared at one of ten partner healthcare facilities in Pima County to meet each client's specific nutritional needs. We envision a community where elderly and disabled adults thrive physically and emotionally in their own homes because they have ready access to appropriate, nutritious food and a compassionate network of support to ensure their health and safety.
