Patient AirLift Services (PALS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable aviation organization. Our mission is to connect the charitable aviation community to people in need. We arrange free air transportation for individuals requiring medical diagnosis, treatment or follow-up, for compassionate assistance, for military personnel/family requests through the PALS for Patriots Program, or for humanitarian purposes through the PALS Sky Hope Disaster Relief Program.

Meals on Wheels Association of Staten Island, was founded in 1972 and provides two meals daily, one hot and one chilled, each meeting one-third recommended dietary requirement (RDA) delivered to older adults who are unable to cook or shop for themselves, are homebound, disabled, frail, or at risk. These services significantly improve the quality of life and health of the individuals they serve and prevent or postpone early institutionalization. Meals are prepared responsive to most individual health related dietary requirements. The daily delivery by staff or volunteers provides direct contact which is just as important as the meals that are delivered as it reduces a sense of isolation and supports a sense of security and well-being.

We serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday – one that we are happy to eat ourselves – in a respectful atmosphere to anyone who comes through our doors, no questions asked. We provide a welcoming place of respite for our guests and offer vital social services to those in need. We do this with an all-volunteer staff, without a single employee.
Woodstock Area Meals on Wheels prepares and delivers hot, wholesome meals every day to the homes of the elderly, shut-ins, handicapped and convalescents within the area of Woodstock. This service is available to those who are physically unable to prepare a daily hot meal for themselves. Meals on Wheels can accommodate those with special dietary needs, including vegetarians, diabetics, and individuals with food allergies. If additional meals are needed on the weekend, they can be delivered on Friday.
