In 1988, to better facilitate the Hindu community, the temple was moved to a larger site in Concord, CA. The site was chosen due to availability and the fact that it had always been a place of worship.

The Agape House, Inc. is a non-denominational ministry creating neutral ground where Christ-centered churches can work side-by-side to reach a unique population of our local community. Our mission is to serve God and the community by allowing the love of Christ to shine through us. Those who benefit from these services have been homeless on a long term or short term basis as well as people in need.

There is an overwhelming need for affordable housing for low-income families across Dallas County. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) defines "affordable housing" as monthly mortgage or rent payments costing no more than 30 percent of a household's gross income. An alarming 34% of Dallas homeowners are spending over 30% of their gross income to pay their mortgage and other homeownership-related expenses. Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity alleviates the housing burden placed on low-income families by offering them an innovative model to own a quality home with affordable 0% interest loans. Habitat homes are financed by generous donations from community supporters and largely built by the partner Habitat family with dedicated volunteers. C

With caring people like you and church partnerships, we support children through global orphan care ministries, Christian adoptive families, and foster care initiatives.

We desire to express the Teresian contemplative life in the Contemporary Church & World– Our goals are to foster a broader acceptance of unity in diversity & the mutuality of the Carmelite family, especially by continued collaboration, friendship & communion among associations/federations at home & abroad.– To continue to work at achieving a representative voice in matters affecting our lives, the Teresian charism, & the Order.–To develop and empower our members to be future leaders of &/or contributors to CCA.– To continue to provide active, mutual support to the identified needs of our communities. We are committed to finding new ways of mutually supporting our communities. Currently we are implementing a Shared Services Program which will streamline & enhance the work we do.
