The mission of the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation is to promote public interest in the Army and the women who serve in the Army. Through programs, research and scholarships, the Foundation recognizes and honors the service of Army women and supports the U.S. Army Women’s Museum located at Fort Lee, Virginia.
Through the granting of wishes, Wish for Our Heroes strives to assist military families struggling with burdens caused by deployment, family separation, and the daily strains of military life. By providing 100% transparency for all donors, and a unique focus on assisting military members not covered by other charities, Wish for Our Heroes assists families by providing basic needs and building family cohesiveness before, during, and after deployments. Wish for Our Heroes is a volunteer-based, national 501(c)(3), that maintains less than 10% combined fundraising and administrative costs to ensure donated funds are allocated directly to those in need. We strive to provide peace of mind to our troops, allowing them to focus on their combat missions, knowing that Wish for Our Heroes is taking care of their families back home. Our mission is to grant one wish for every deserving member of the United States Armed Forces.
