Alabama Veteran is a registered 501c(3) organization with the goal of creating opportunities for Veterans and current military members to remain engaged and working towards reaching their full potential. We try to enrich their life by promoting the spirit of camaraderie through social, fitness, outdoor recreation and through curating a network of providers who each deliver specialized services in accordance with our service men and women’s individual needs.

Their mission is to provide round trip transportation from Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield, Illinois for veterans in order of their service (WWII, Korean Era and Vietnam Era) who wish to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. This one day trip includes air and ground transportation, meals and snacks, t-shirt and cap, and other items provided completely free of charge to the veteran in honor of his/her service to our country.
HONORING THOSE WHO SERVED WITH LIVE TAPS BUGLES ACROSS AMERICA NFP SUPPORTS THE MISSIONS OF VARIOUS ORGANIZATONS BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT THE NEED FOR MUSICAL EDUCATION AND SUPPORT FOR OUR VETERANS. OTHER ORGANIZATIONS ARE SUPPORTED BECAUSE OF REQUESTS FROM SOME OF OUR FEMALE VOLUNTEERS.
Band of Brothers Outdoors was started and founded by three Military Veterans with one mission in mind... "To get our Veterans and Active duty members outdoors to experience the benefits of Recreational Therapy!". Whether it be Kayaking, Mushrooming, Hiking, Snow Shoeing, Hunting or Fishing, Band of Brothers Outdoors is committed to helping our veterans and active duty service members get back outdoors
To ensure that qualified organizations pair Veterans with the most beneficial service dogs; increase awareness and understanding of the medical evidence that supports the use of service dogs; and advocate for the expanded use of qualified service dogs.

Rather than an existence characterized by an endless cycle of mental illness diagnoses, medications, medical appointments and disappointments, our graduates have lives of pride, productivity, healthy relationships and continued service. After completion of our 7-Day Advance program, our graduates express a significant reduction in their social role, interpersonal relations and symptom distress. This translates into renewed purpose, focus, resolve and drive to get their lives back on track. And they do just that. Our warfighters regain control of their lives.
