PROVIDE HOUSING, JOB TRAINING AND DRUG COUNSELING/REHABILITATION FOR MILITARY VETERANS.
We provide support to deployed military and their families by sending letters & cards, personal care items, snacks and local favorites to the deployed personnel and logistical, economic support and assistance to veterans and dependent families. Our family pantry currently is assisting 125+ families per week with food, clothing, baby necessities, pet foods, and household goods. This support is available to any PA veteran or active duty military in financial crisis. All assistance is totally anonymous and we do not share any information with other agencies without specific permission.
FLY MILITARY VETERANS TO WASHINGTON DCVeterans Honor Flight of ND/MN is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's Veterans for all their sacrifices. Top priority is given to the senior Veterans - World War II and Korean War Veterans - along with other Veterans who may be terminally ill. Flights occur in the spring and fall of each year pending fundraising. The western side of North Dakota has recently established an Honor Flight hub. Their mission is to provide round trip transportation from Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield, Illinois for veterans in order of their service (WWII, Korean Era and Vietnam Era) who wish to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. This one day trip includes air and ground transportation, meals and snacks, t-shirt and cap, and other items provided completely free of charge to the veteran in honor of his/her service to our country.
