(WRO) has championed the expansion of non-discriminatory housing opportunities in our region for low- and moderate-income households, minorities, senior citizens and persons with disabilities, including the psychiatrically disabled. WRO is a HUD approved Housing Counseling Agency, a licensed real estate broker and a United Way agency. All of our housing services for consumers are free, and are funded by government grants, private contributions and corporate support.

Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity (CDHFH) is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that serves Kent County by partnering with low-income families to build simple, decent, affordable homes. It was founded in 1990 and became a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Since that time, the Kent County affiliate has built 17 homes and currently has one nearing completion. We are able to build affordable homes by engaging the community to volunteer at all stages of our operation, securing donated resources, and selling the home at no profit with a zero interest loan.
Operation Dignity assists homeless veterans and their families. We provide emergency, transitional and permanent housing for homeless in Alameda County, California. We also offer comprehensive support services, nutritious meals and a strong peer community. Our goal is to help veterans rediscover hope and provide the tools needed to live a self-sufficient and stable life.
