Program activities are as follows: *Home construction, repair and rehabilitation for low-income persons living in deteriorating housing, *Vocational training for unskilled workers particularly in the construction trades, *Assistance in the development and start-up of small businesses by persons who lack the economic ability and expertise to do so without assistance, *Creation of job opportunities for unemployed persons, and mobilization of relief workers to areas of disaster and poverty.

THE OPEN SHELTER PROVIDES, DIRECTLY OR BY REFERRAL, EMERGENCY SHELTER AND ASSISTANCE FOR HOMELESS AND MARGINALLY HOUSED PERSONS IN CENTRAL OHIO, ESPECIALLY THE MOST VULNERABLE AMONG THEM; AND TO PROVIDE DIRECTLY OR BY REFERRAL, COORDINATED, SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, AND TRANSITIONAL AND/OR PERMANENT HOUSING, ENABLING HOMELESS AND MARGINALLY HOUSED PERSONS TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY.

Windsor House Adult Day Health (ADH) program became the geriatric program of New Communities Services, Inc. (NCS) in 1977, and currently operates two lively cost-effective adult day health centers. It continues with an excellent track record to keep adults where they want to be- in the familiar settings of their homes and communities and is committed to provide eligible residents opportunities to age in the least restrictive place, with services designed to maintain independence and enhance their sense of self-worth. Windsor House ADH also aims to diminish caregiver stress through respite, support groups, and educational materials.
Breaking Free is a Minnesota-based non-profit and social justice/social change organization founded in 1996 by Vednita Carter. Every year, Breaking Free helps over 500 women escape systems of prostitution and sexual exploitation through advocacy, direct services, housing, and education. Our main offices are located in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a branch in Minneapolis. Breaking Free's doors are open to women throughout Minnesota and the United States.
StandUp For Kids is a nationally recognized non-profit charity that works directly with thousands of homeless youth across the country. Our organization was founded in 1990 by a group of volunteers in San Diego, CA. Starting from a program in one city, StandUp For Kids has grown to sustain locations in 18 cities across 10 states and the District of Columbia. We remain a nearly all-volunteer organization that prioritizes the needs of the youth we serve. Simply put, we are here to empower homeless and at-risk youth toward lifelong personal growth, and to create in these youth a sincere belief in themselves through open, straightforward counseling, mentoring, and life-skills training.
