Siena Francis House welcomes and empowers those experiencing homelessness to navigate their path to housing.

Promise Pointe is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to provide permanent affordable housing and a supportive community for the chronically homeless in Victoria, Texas and the Crossroads region.Our goal is to build a transformative residential community to serve our neighbors who have been living on the streets, while also empowering the surrounding community into a lifestyle of service with the homeless.Modeled on the Community First! Village in Austin, TX, Promise Pointe will be a place that enables our homeless brothers and sisters to heal. It will be a place where they can rediscover hope, renew their purpose and restore their dignity. Most importantly, it will be a place they can call home.

Also kinown as WAIT House To provide stability to youth who present themselves as homeless. This will be accomplished through the immediate provision of coordinated services; reunification of families where appropriate; the provision of supervised emergency and transitional housing with the goal of personal responsibility and self-sufficiency.

To empower community-members with the resources they need to thrive while building community, fostering connection and inspiring a lifestyle of service. We serve individuals and families in Petaluma, California and rural parts of the Dominican Republic.

Our Mission: Friends of the Carpenter is a non-profit, faith-based day facility that provides safety, structure and purpose for vulnerable members of our community.Our Vision: People of all circumstances are accepted, honored and appreciated in our community, and are empowered to live life with dignity, hope and love.We make wood devotional items at our shelter, but our main product is relationships. We are changing lives with love – helping those who have encountered many difficulties in life see themselves as people of worth and take that next step in bringing their lives back on track.

We partner with mission-driven people and organizations across Cook and Lake Counties to witness a message of mercy and hope to a world in need. We are called to serve and accompany anyone, regardless of their faith, gender, race, or ethnicity.

At COTS, our mission is to assist those experiencing homelessness in finding and keeping housing, increasing self-sufficiency, and improving well-being. We envision a community where everyone has a place to call home.

Avenues for Youth partners with youth experiencing homelessness to achieve their dreams.

We believe every child deserves a lifelong, permanent connection. We believe that people raise children, not systems. Through this belief, we have created our Promise of Permanency. For every child that enters a Boys & Girls Aid program, we promise to prepare youth for permanency, advocate on their behalf for permanency and help them find resources for their permanency. Permanency means a lifelong commitment between and with an adult and child. By providing each child with a permanent committed adult, they will receive the guidance, stability and emotional support needed to be a successful adult in their community.

THE CENTRAL ISLIP CIVIC COUNCIL IS A NON-PROFIT, COMMUNITY BASED AGENCY DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL RESIDENTS OF CENTRAL ISLIP. THE CICC MAINTAINS THE HISTORIC HEINES HOMESTEAD BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS WHERE WE OFFER "A STEP BACK IN TIME" ACADEMIC SCHOOLHOUSE PROGRAM, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR FAMILIES AND SENIORS. WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY FOR OUR CENTRAL ISLIP RESIDENTS WITH SUMMER VEGETABLES PROVIDED BY OUR VERY OWN GARDEN. WE ALSO SPONSOR FREE RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, AND CULTURAL AND HOLIDAY EVENTS.
