Our mission is to foster an understanding and appreciation of Japan’s culinary heritage in the United States through outreach to chefs, culinary arts professionals and all who admire and enjoy Japanese culture. We are committed to the principles of cultural and gastronomic education and exchange and we believe that by inspiring chefs, restaurateurs, journalists, and food lovers both professional and amateur through such educational initiatives, we will expand and enrich their repertoires, their artistry and their cultural understanding. The Gohan Society serves as a resource center for knowledge of traditional Japanese ingredients, techniques and food-related products, and as a catalyst for the expansion of that knowledge in the United States.

Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen is committed to providing no cost, hot nutritious meals and support services in a dignified, safe and caring environment. We provide these services to all needy individuals, with a special concern for families and senior citizens.

Taliesin is acknowledged as the embodiment of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright's commitment to the creation of exceptional environments that harmonize architecture, art, culture, and the land. As stewards, Taliesin Preservation's dual mission is to preserve the cultural, built and natural environments that comprise the Taliesin property and to conduct public educational and cultural programming that provides a greater understanding of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture and ideas.

To provide Kosher foods to individuals and families so that they may celebrate the holidays in a traditional and dignified manner. To also provide a hands on volunteer experience for individuals from a variety of backgrounds throughout the city and suburbs of Chicago.

Our technology platform enables businesses to schedule on-demand pickups for their surplus food. Replate’s food rescuers bring your donated food directly to those experiencing food insecurity in your community. Donating surplus food with Replate allows your business to give back to people in your local area. Replate works with incredible nonprofit organizations serving people of all ages and backgrounds who may experience food insecurity.

Meals on Wheels is a community-based service that provides fresh, nutritious meals delivered directly to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout the Twin Cities. In addition to regularly providing healthy foods, caring volunteers provide social connection that helps meal recipients remain living independently in their own homes.

With dignity and respect, powered by volunteers, MEND's mission is to break the bonds of poverty by providing basic human needs and a pathway to self-reliance.

To provide accessible, barrier-free services to empower people experiencing problems with homelessness, housing, hunger, and poverty; and to advocate for solutions to these problems.

The mission of End 68 Hours of Hunger is to confront the nearly 68 hours of hunger experienced by some local children between the free lunch they receive on Friday and the free breakfast they receive on Monday.  We provide backpacks of food to feed them through the weekend

Drawing on Jewish traditions of Tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (repairing the world) we offer free health care services to anyone in need, without regard to religion. We offer an atmosphere of respect, empowerment and partnership with our patients, and strive to assist them in attaining full health and well-being.

TO OBTAIN AND PROVIDE EMERGENCY FOOD PROVISIONS TO THOSE IN NEED IN THE LINN COUNTY, IA AREA - SUPPLYING 3 DAYS WORTH OF GROCERIES TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY.

Through empowerment, education, and partnerships The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri brings community resources together to feed people in need. We provide food at no charge to pantries, soup kitchen and other member agencies that distribute it to people in need at no charge.
