Our mission is to foster an understanding and appreciation of Japan’s culinary heritage in the United States through outreach to chefs, culinary arts professionals and all who admire and enjoy Japanese culture. We are committed to the principles of cultural and gastronomic education and exchange and we believe that by inspiring chefs, restaurateurs, journalists, and food lovers both professional and amateur through such educational initiatives, we will expand and enrich their repertoires, their artistry and their cultural understanding. The Gohan Society serves as a resource center for knowledge of traditional Japanese ingredients, techniques and food-related products, and as a catalyst for the expansion of that knowledge in the United States.

Our mission is to partner with Virginia farmers to increase community access to local food. We provide the support services, infrastructure, and market opportunities that connect people with food grown close to home. Our vision is that the knowledge and choice of local food becomes the norm, not the exception, for all segments of the community, and that small farms have a strong economic foothold in the marketplace. We offer a smarter, healthier alternative to traditional agribusiness models by reinstating small farms as the food source for the community. We forge close relationships with our farmers and provide essential services that lead to the direct distribution of fresh, high-quality food to institutions, retailers, restaurants, and schools. We create community partnerships that promote knowledge of and access to local food where it is needed most. We distribute Virginia-grown and produced items to restaurants, retailers, institutions, buying clubs, mainline distributors, and more. We serve Central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley, Harrisonburg, Richmond, and the greater Washington, DC area.

ChicagoVeg is non-for-profit organization to support all vegans/vegetarians and educate the public about advantageous of a plant-based diet. Join us for delicious meals, share your favorite recipes, discuss living a healthy (vegetarian - vegan - raw food) lifestyle, support green movement, conscious living, and make new friends! We regularly meet in the city and suburbs for dining, picnics, lectures, movies, visiting local expos, and other events.

To provide Kosher foods to individuals and families so that they may celebrate the holidays in a traditional and dignified manner. To also provide a hands on volunteer experience for individuals from a variety of backgrounds throughout the city and suburbs of Chicago.

The organization's mission with the generous support of the community, is to serve residents of the Oregon School District who believe they need assistance in supplementing their supply of nutritious food and basic necessities. Our goal is to be a consistent, dependable resource for our clients, cooperating when possible with other community agencies. The Pantry Coordinators and other volunteers will act as stewards of God's bounty in a respectful and non-judgemental manner.

Our mission is to compassionately provide food and comprehensive support to our neighbors in need that creates a path towards self-sufficiency. We help people in Eden Prairie and Chanhassen, Minnesota who are facing financial hardship or crisis.

Christian Relief Services' mission is to connect the vast resources of America through collaboration and partnerships formed with grass roots charitable groups, churches and human service agencies, empower local volunteers to help those in need in their own communities and enable people to help themselves.

Human Beans Together, Inc. is a Raleigh, NC, based collection of people interested in helping alleviate hunger, homelessness, and hopelessness by sharing our resources with those in need.

Our reach ~ 28 chapters with over 1,500 women, composing a powerful, far-reaching professional network. Our vision: to create a supportive culture in our communities to achieve excellence in food, fine beverage and hospitality by providing leadership, educational opportunities and philanthropic events.

The mission of ChristNet is to provide temporary overnight emergency housing assistance and other services to homeless men, women, and children. We do this by providing a safe secure sleeping space indoors; offering three meals per day; and by maintaining a case manager who identifies and coordinates mainstream resources to help those in need restabilize their lives. ChristNet promotes cooperation among churches and non-profit organizations as we strive to assist our brothers and sisters in God’s family.
