The Community FoodBank of New Jersey's mission is to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by assisting those in need and seeking long-term solutions. We engage, educate and empower all sectors of society in the battle. Rose Haven's mission is to provide day shelter, resources, emotional support and community connections to women, children and marginalized genders experiencing homelessness and poverty.Our vision is a community where everyone has safety, stability, love, health and home.Rose Haven is a low barrier agency that exists not to just meet basic needs, but to nurture souls and improve the emotional, mental and physical well-being of our guests and our community as a whole. We understand our agency exists within larger systems of oppression, and we seek to disrupt those structures through radical hospitality, advocacy on an individual and community level, and meaningful connections to resources. We work to hold a space where all guests can connect, have a voice and be empowered.

We serve and catalyze our community to end homelessness, one person at a time.

To provide Night Night Packages, free of charge, to homeless children from birth to pre-teen who need our childhood and educational essentials to feel secure, cozy, ready to learn, and significant.  Each Night Night Package contains a new security blanket, an age-appropriate children's book, and a stuffed animal -- all nestled inside a canvas tote bag.

Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to help poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives. Today, Rosie’s Place not only provides meals and shelter but also creates answers for 12,000 women a year through wide-ranging support, housing and education services. Rosie’s Place relies solely on the generous support of individuals, foundations and corporations and does not accept any city, state or federal funding.

Westside Baby, in partnership with our community, provides essential items to local children in need by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing and equipment.

The mission of Foster Love is to transform the way youth navigate through the foster care system in America.

Chai Lifeline’s guiding principles are: That seriously ill children need and deserve as happy and normal a childhood as possible; That illness affects each member of the family; That the well-being of an ill child is impacted by the well-being of his or her family; That pediatric illness can have a devastating financial effect on families. With this in mind, Chai Lifeline strives to: Find ways to bring joy to the lives of our young patients and their families through creative, innovative, and effective family-focused programs, activities, and services; Engender hope and optimism in children, families, and communities; Educate and involve communities in caring for ill children and their families; Provide unparalleled support throughout the child’s illness, recovery and beyond; Build communities among children and families living with illness or loss that allow them to engage, strengthen, and encourage one another; Offer all services free of charge to ensure that every family has access to the programs it needs.
