We also provide toiletry items such as shampoo, bath soap, deodorant, tooth brush, tooth paste, and other grooming items. In the coldest months we also provide socks, hoodies, long johns, and gloves. Our efforts are concentrated to assist those in need in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia areas.

Global Hope was founded in 1996 to rescue and care for abandoned children in Romania, Kenya and India. God works through Global Hope to promote and nurture lasting and loving relationships for abandoned, orphaned, and at-risk children and to help the communities where these children live develop sustainable resources for effective Christian parenting. We equip our mission partners with the appropriate resources, education, mentoring, and financial support to effectively care for abandoned, orphaned, and at-risk children. Our Co-op was organized in 1972 as an alternative to the established for-profit early childcare and preschool programs available at the time.
