The Ruth Ellis Center (REC), incorporated in 1999, is a youth social services agency with a mission “to provide short-term and long-term residential safe space and support services for runaway, homeless, and at-risk lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.” As LGBTQ youth continue to be disproportionately affected by homelessness, the Ruth Ellis Center remains dedicated to ensuring that these vulnerable youth and young adults receive the services and inherent protections available to all citizens. While the Center emphasizes serving LGBTQ youth who are often ostracized, shamed, and denied services by other agencies, no youth, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation is turned away or denied services

Unfortunately, many people don't have regular access to essential hygiene products or can't afford them, which can have a significant impact on their self-esteem and overall health. At CareBag Inc., we are committed to helping those who are struggling with hygiene insecurity. Our mission is to provide school-aged children and young adults in need with essential hygiene products to support their health, boost their confidence, and improve their hygiene education. We understand that it's challenging for some individuals to get the items they need to feel clean and healthy, which is why we have two mobile shower units and a mobile hygiene pantry to help meet their needs. Our vision for the future is that everyone living in the US has access to essential hygiene products to feel their best and live their lives to the fullest. The Pollinator Partnership is the largest organization in the world dedicated exclusively to the protection and promotion of pollinators and their ecosystems. Birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small mammals that pollinate plants are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food. They also sustain our ecosystems and produce our natural resources by helping plants reproduce. Without the actions of pollinators agricultural economies, our food supply, and surrounding landscapes would collapse. Pollinator Partnership's mission is North American in scope, conducting programs and projects in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Feed More collects, prepares and distributes food to neighbors in need across 34 cities and counties in Central Virginia. Through comprehensive programs and a network of nearly 300 agencies, Feed More helps ensure our communities have access to healthy meals year round.
