Our mission is to nurture generations of passionate learners, critical thinkers and active citizens through Design, Make, Play — an approach to learning that encourages hands-on experimentation, critical thinking, and iterative problem-solving. Through Design, Make, Play, NYSCI aspires to create a distinctive set of resources that have a measurable and scalable impact on how people learn. The museum anchors and inspires all the work we do, fostering public engagement in STEM, and supporting our youth development program, education offerings and research. We have developed innovative products to extend this learning far beyond our walls, and our extensive network of partnerships deepens and broadens our impact, locally and around the world.

The Institute is a 501(c)(3) scientific and literary nonprofit organization that is dedicated to contributing to a greater interest in scholarly and educational pursuits, especially in the natural history sciences. It maintains an interdisciplinary focus in order to better understand complex relationships among disciplines. Its mission is international in scope. In pursuing its mission, the Institute recognizes that greater interests in scholarly and educational pursuits are something that everyone benefits from.

Established in 2004, the Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS) is an award-winning California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organization dedicated to improving society by conducting scientific and social research. We believe in changing the world for the better through education, research, and scholarships. Our ultimate goal is to create a better world with lasting peace, prosperity, and universal rights for all.

ASCB IS AN INCLUSIVE, INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY OF BIOLOGISTS STUDYING THE CELL, THE FUNDAMENTAL UNIT OF LIFE. ​The mission of Plastic Ocean Project, Inc. 501(c)3 is to educate through field research, implement progressive outreach initiatives, and incubate solutions to address the global plastic pollution problem, working with and for the next generation to create a more sustainable future.

The Museum of Prairiefire Foundation (Museum at Prairiefire) is committed to innovative learning in science, the arts and natural history.
