For over 30 years, Brain Trauma Foundation has been conducting innovative clinical research and developing evidence-based guidelines that improve outcomes for the millions of people who suffer from traumatic brain injuries every year. From concussion to coma, Brain Trauma Foundation's expertise allows us to better educate and train myriad audiences that encounter traumatic brain injuries in situations ranging from the battlefield to an athletic arena to a hospital. Brain Trauma Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, was founded in 1986 by Dr. Jam Ghajar, MD, PhD, FACS.

The Tor Project is organized and operated exclusively for scientific, charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including (a) to develop, improve and distribute free, publicly available tools and programs that promote free speech, free expression, civic engagement and privacy rights online; (b) to conduct scientific research regarding, and to promote the use of and knowledge about, such tools, programs and related issues around the world; (c) to educate the general public around the world about privacy rights and anonymity issues connected to Internet use; and (d) to carry out and conduct such other activities related to the stated mission.

Seeding Labs invests in exceptional scientists in developing countries who have limited resources, but limitless potential. By raising public awareness, advancing science-based solutions and mobilizing decision-makers around ocean conservation, we are leading voices for a healthy ocean. SeaWeb was founded to address the lack of public engagement on ocean issues, and works to reverse this trend by enabling key decision-makers to better understand the complexities of important marine environmental problems. In addition, our social marketing techniques enable the marine conservation community to effectively communicate sound solutions to these problems - another vital aspect of our unique approach to solving critical conservation questions.

D-Rev is a design engine that brings world-class health solutions to the people who need them most. Fundamentally we believe that all people deserve good health and we are in the position to design, refine, launch, implement, and track solutions that deliver quality impact. Our understanding of market dynamics and commercialization enables us to do it at scale with no additional philanthropy needed. We have achieved organizational proof of concept- with 5 products in 2 different product lines scaling via the market and over 700,000 patients treated in 71 countries. We are now tackling our biggest project- the development of a device to treat respiratory distress (a leading reason for infant mortality) in the NICU.

The Heinz Center is a nonpartisan, nonprofit institution dedicated to improving the scientific and economic foundation for environmental policy through multisectoral collaboration. The Center fosters collaboration among industry, environmental organizations, academia, and all levels of government in each of its program areas and projects. It uses scientific and economic analyses to develop viable options to solving problems, and its findings and recommendations are widely disseminated to public and private sector decision makers, the scientific community, and the public. The active involvement of high-level decision makers in government and industry, as well as of leading academic researchers and environmental activists enables the Center to make a unique contribution to environmental policymaking. The Center's work currently focuses on three strategic areas: Environmental Reporting; Global Change; and Sustainable Oceans, Coasts, and Waterways.
