The Missouri Prairie Foundation works to protect and restore Missouri’s prairie and other native grasslands by acquiring and managing prairie lands, supporting restoration and scientific research, and offering outreach and education. It also promotes the use of native plants through its Grow Native! program and helps coordinate invasive-plant control via the Missouri Invasive Plant Council.

The Center for Whale Research conducts long‑term scientific monitoring of Southern Resident killer whales — including annual censuses and health assessments — to inform conservation policy and ecosystem recovery. Cyber Strong Nebraska works to strengthen cybersecurity across Nebraska by providing education, practical training, and resources. It runs statewide initiatives and hands‑on exercises (like the Cyber Tatanka cyber‑range event) to build awareness, develop defender skills, and foster public–private partnerships that improve resilience of individuals, businesses, and critical infrastructure.

Founded by Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green, the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is on a mission to change the way cancer is treated and reduce cancer-patient suffering by providing a treatment that is accessible, affordable, and, most importantly, effective. Despite all of modern and alternative medicine’s best approaches, nearly 9 million cancer-related deaths occur every year due to cost, access, and efficacy of current treatment options. Dr. Green has developed a new arsenal in the war on cancer, Laser-Activated Nano-Therapy (LANT). The National Space Society (NSS) is an independent, nonpartisan, educational, grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a spacefaring civilization.
