The mission of the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County is to reduce, remedy, and prevent domestic violence in Chester County.

The Julian Center empowers survivors of domestic and sexual violence, strives to end the generational cycle of violence and creates a community where every individual is safe and respected. Since 1975, they have assisted more than 66,000 survivors and have educated more than 300,000 others on the causes of domestic and sexual violence and its impact on their community.

CALICO achieves justice and healing for abused children and for adult victims with developmental disabilities. Its mission is to provide a supportive environment to interview victims and facilitate a collaborative response to abuse in which the needs of victims take precedence. It promotes the safety and well-being of all children.

Together we will create a world in which no girl or woman is bought or sold. At Apne Aap we fight to end sex-trafficking by preventing inter-generational prostitution. We provide education, legal support, gov’t IDs and access to welfare as well as to income generating programs to at-risk and prostituted women and children.

The Women’s Law Project creates a more just and equitable society by advancing the rights and status of all women throughout their lives. To this end, we engage in high- impact litigation, advocacy, and education. Our core values are the belief in the right of all women to bodily integrity and personal autonomy; dedication to listening to women and being guided by their experiences; and commitment to fairness, equality and justice.

HOPE offers supportive services, opportunities for healing, and community education to assist victims, and end violence and abuse.

The Crisis Center is a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services to victims of domestic violence, and addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence. The Crisis Center serves the Greater Chicago Southland, the main focus areas being the ten townships in its original service area: Bloom, Bremen, Calumet, Lemont, Orland, Palos, Rich, Stickney, Thornton, and Worth. This encompasses the Circuit Court of Cook County Fifth and Sixth Municipal Districts in Bridgeview and Markham. However, clients come from all over the state of Illinois, from other states, and occasionally from other countries.

Global Girls mission is to equip girls of color with skills that nurture their individual growth and inspire them to use their talents for positive change in their communities and throughout the world. We provide a safe space where participants learn performance, communication and social/emotional skills. Our curriculum is grounded in positive youth development best practices stemming from research in child and adolescent development. The overwhelming consensus is that youth need the following key assets to thrive and become healthy productive adults: 1. Safe environment 2. Supportive environment 3. Interaction 4. Engagement 5. Youth-centered policies and practices 6. High expectations The lessons helps youth develop critical thinking skills as they investigate their issues and seek solutions. Each program participant acquires dance, acting and story crafting skills while also reinforcing essential habits such as resiliency, empathy, self-discipline and grit. The result is socially conscious, youth-driven theatre that gives voice to participant's issues and concerns.

The GOD'S CHILD Project's mission is "to break the bitter chains of poverty through education, housing and healthcare." While GOD'S CHILD is rooted in education and health-care, we aim to support the communities we serve at every level of development. Through our wide range of programs, we help children and families living in extreme poverty to meet their basic needs and find a restored sense of hope, self-worth and human dignity. Religious affiliation is not a requirement for any program services.

NWCAVE helps to inform, educate and prevent violence and exploitation against women and children nationally and internationally. Whether human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual violence, stalking, bullying, hate crimes and all other forms of violence and exploitation against women and children, NWCAVE strives to keep the public informed and educated on how we can live in a more civilized society free of violence. Voices For Children raises funds to support Miami-Dade's Guardian Ad Litem Program in their efforts to recruit, train, and support Guardians Ad Litem, court appointed volunteers who serve as advocates for the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children involved in dependency court proceedings. Additionally, Voices For Children provides direct financial assistance and other resources to meet these children's medical, educational, and social needs.

The miission of the organization is to engage communities in Africa to achieve gender equality, food security, quality primary education for all children and reduce the incidence and impact of HIV.
