The mission of Clackamas Women's Services is to break the isolation of domestic and sexual violence. Clackamas Women’s Services helps individuals and families experiencing and healing from domestic and sexual violence, child and elder abuse, stalking, dating violence, and trafficking. We work with survivors currently experiencing violence to plan for their safety, as well as help to heal from trauma in the past. Our programs and services are free, confidential, available in multiple languages, and with any accommodations needed. Our support is available regardless of gender identification, sexual orientation, age, and immigration status to ensure anyone escaping violence can access the resources they deserve. Women's and Children's Crisis Shelter is committed to provide safety, shelter and hope to victims of domestic violence.

House Of Ruth Maryland leads the fight to end violence against women and their children by confronting the attitudes, behaviors and systems that perpetuate it, and by providing victims with the services necessary to rebuild their lives safely and free of fear.

We will work toward the elimination of domestic violence and provide emergency and support services for survivors of domestic violence.For over 37 years, Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc. (DVSS) has advanced its work to prevent domestic violence and provide support services for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Services are available twenty four hours a day. Our primary service area is New Hanover County. (Other areas are served as needed.)

Since 1953, the mission of their shelter has been to provide a haven for Huron county residents to safely surrender their animals when unforeseen circumstances come up. We accept dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals. We are unable to accept stray or outdoor cats and all stray or lost dogs must go to the Huron County Dog Warden. The Cocoon Shelter, so-named to reflect a victim's transformation as she achieves independence from interpersonal abuse, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a place for safety, healing, and justice for battered women and their children.

SOHO works to transform the lives of children of child-headed households and those at risk of abuse and exploitation through a holistic, Christ-centered program to heal, educate, nurture and empower them to be self-sustaining.
