Independence House helps all domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their children by creating opportunities to find safety and become empowered through crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling, referral, prevention outreach, education and inspiring change in our community. Our vision is to see domestic and sexual violence come to an end.

The mission of Women Against Abuse is to provide quality, compassionate, and nonjudgmental services in a manner that fosters self-respect and independence in persons experiencing intimate partner violence, and to lead the struggle to end domestic violence through advocacy and community education.

The mission of the N.Y. Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund (also known as Answer the Call) is to support the families of New York City Police Officers, Firefighters, Port Authority Police, and EMS Personnel who have been killed in the line of duty. When these brave men and women make the ultimate sacrifice to protect our city, we believe it is our civic duty to support the families these heroes have left behind. Our mission is to reassure these families that we will never forget them or the sacrifice made by their loved ones. We provide financial assistance, host special gatherings, and offer a network of support to over 600 families. Our goal is to raise enough funds to assist these families for the rest of their lives. Adoption Rhode Island's Mission is to facilitate the permanent placement of children waiting in state care and promote adoption as a positive way to create a family. They provide pre and post adoption services to families, advocate for public policy to promote a child's right to a safe environment and a permanent family, and increase public awareness of the unmet needs of these children.

Easterling Center for Restorative Practices (the Center), is a trauma recovery center, founded on the belief that no one's legacy should ever be defined by their worst mistake. Our mission is to eradicate the individual behaviors we believe to be at the core of gun-violence by offering trauma-centered recovery services to women, children and formerly incarcerated men ages 16-25, who have experienced the effects of violent crime as either a victim or an offender.

The Task Force on Family Violence of Milwaukee, Inc. (TFFV) provides advocacy, education and access resources to keep people safe. TFFV is a leader in addressing the problem of domestic violence and the myriad of needs of survivors in our community. Our leadership and innovative thinking has created a rich history and strong foundation for our work.
