The mission of Advocates for Children & Youth is to identify problems, to promote policies and programs that improve results for Maryland children in measurable and meaningful ways, and to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and policies for the children and youth of Maryland.

WE HOUSE BOYS AND GIRLS WHO ARE TROUBLED, ABUSED, NEGLECTED OR COME FROM TROUBLED FAMILIES. WE PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE LIVING ARRANGEMENT FOR THESE CHILDREN WHO CANNOT LIVE IN THEIR OWN HOMES OR UNDER ANY OTHER FAMILY CARE. WE STRENGTHEN CHARACTER BY MODELING CHRIST-CENTERED VALUES. WE TRANSFORM HEARTS AND CHANGE LIVES WHILE MAINTAINING OUR CORE VALUES, WHICH ARE BIBLE-BASED, PEOPLE ORIENTED AND WITH AN OBEDIENT SPIRIT. WE HAVE BEEN SERVING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FOR OVER 30 YEARS. OVER THE LAST 3 DECADES APPROXIMATLY 700 CHILDREN HAVE CALLED THE RANCH "HOME". Black Women’s Blueprint, Inc. is a civil and human rights organization of women and men. Our purpose is to take action to secure social, political and economic equality in American society now. We work to develop a culture where African-American women are fully empowered and where gender, race and other disparities are erased. We engage in progressive research, historical documentation, support movement building and organize for social justice steeped in the struggles of African-American women within their own communities and within dominant culture.

International Womens House is a domestic violence shelter with a mission to provide a safe haven and supportive services to women and children who are the victims of family violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking, with a focus on immigrant and refugee women and children, cultural sensitivity and self-sufficiency.

Horsespeak center for personal development, inc. is a non profit center specializing in equine assisted personal growth and development and equine assisted psychotherapy. the staff at horsespeak helps people recover from trauma or victimization explore personal growth and build self confidence. Our mission is to provide these services to all eligible persons regardless of their ability to pay.

We work to curb the needless removal of children from everyone they know and love and the unnecessary placement of those children in foster care, often when family poverty is confused with "neglect." We do this not because such removal harms parents, but because of the enormous harm the misuse and overuse of foster care does to children.

As well, we work with advocates, policy makers and others to build sustainable community leadership and educate people everywhere about the importance of respect and healthy relationships – the relationships that all individuals, families, and communities need and deserve."
