The mission of the YWCA Evanston/North Shore is to empower women and eliminate racism.  We accomplish our mission by creating opportunities and providing resources needed for women and girls to reach their fullest potential; promoting violence-free homes, schools, families and communities; and fostering racial, gender and economic equity and justice.

The mission of the conflict center is to reduce levels of physical, verbal and emotional violence, teaching practical, nonviolent methods for dealing with conflict and anger. Founded in colorado in 1987, the organization works with individuals and groups in a variety of settings, involving them in exercises that teach communication skills, consequences, negotiation, values clarification, win-win outcomes, and problem-solving skills. Our three major program areas are school programs, organizations (including business, neighborhoods, congregations, and families), and youth at risk. We teach conflict management, anger management, and parenting. We apply three processes for individuals and groups in conflict: facilitation, mediation, and negotiation. We provide services based on a sliding fee scale and are committed to providing 50% of services to people in poverty.

Bradley Angle’s mission is to serve all people affected by domestic violence. We do this by placing people experiencing—or at risk of—domestic violence at the center of our services and providing them with safety, education, empowerment, healing, and hope.

The Ladder Alliance mission is to provide women victims of domestic violence and low-income women with the tools to lead self-reliant, independent and successful lives.

Coversa exists to improve the collection of forensic evidence, provide acute interventional services, collaborate with legal and judicial representatives and provide education to the community regarding sexual assault issues.

Safehome's mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence and partner abuse for victims and their children by providing shelter, advocacy, counseling, and prevention education in our community.

Tubman's mission is to advance opportunities for change so that every person can experience safety, hope, and healing.

Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland, a private non-profit organization, serves to strengthen families and individuals in both the Jewish and general communities in Northeast Ohio.
