The St. Tammany Hospital Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization established to support and enhance the healing work of the physicians and staff of St. Tammany Parish Hospital.  Through the development of philanthropic support, the Foundation seeks to fortify the promise to provide world-class healthcare close to home, now and for generations to come.

HOPE Foundation for Women and Children of Bangladesh aims to give access to healthcare for poverty stricken and destitute women and children of Bangladesh by establishing hospitals, medical clinics, providing preventative health education to the general population and implement rehabilitative services for the disabled and injured. HOPE focuses on maternal health and boasts projects in: obstetric fistula, safe delivery, midwifery training, community health worker training, research, and more.

TO IMPROVE THE LIVES AND HEALTH OF OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES PROVIDED IN A PROFESSIONAL AND DEDICATED ATMOSPHERE OF COMPASSION

To contribute to the health and wellbeing of the Seacoast Community by providing a broad range of health and family services to all regardless of ability to pay. The fiscal year 2017 total charity care is $4,891,510, which includes unreimbursed expenses and leveraged revenue from community benefits activities.

TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO CHILDREN REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY AND TO CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN.

TO OFFER HOPE TO A PATIENT FOR WHOM ALL HOPE FOR CURE HAS BEEN EXHAUSTED; HOPE FOR MAXIMUM ALERTNESS, HOPE FOR INDEPENDENCE AND CONTROL OVER ONE'S LIFE. TO OFFER SUPPORT TO FAMILIES BY ALLOWING TERMINAL PATIENTS TO LIVE AT HOME PAIN FREE AND WITH DIGNITY. TO OFFER THE OPPORTUNITY TO TIE UP LOOSE ENDS, MAKE RECONCILIATIONS, TO KNOW "GOOD" GOODBYES. TO OFFER SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE AND ANSWERS TO ONE'S SEARCH FOR MEANING IN ONE'S LIFE AND DEATH. TO OFFER RELIEF FROM FINANCIAL STRAIN. TO OFFER CARE AND SUPPORT TO FAMILY MEMBERS AND SIGNIFICANT OTHERS THROUGH THE BEREAVMENT PERIOD. TO OFFER SUPPORT TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH EDUCATION ON DEATH AND DYING.

BON SECOURS MERCY HEALTH WILL PROVIDE ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT AND DIRECTION TO ALL OF THE HEALTH CARE INSTITUTIONS AND ACTIVITIES OPERATED AND MAINTAINED BY ITS SUBSIDIARIES. THE MISSION OF BON SECOURS MERCY HEALTH IN PERFORMING THESE ACTIVITIES SHALL BE TO PROVIDE A MEANS BY WHICH THE SPONSORS MANIFEST THE HEALING MINISTRY OF JESUS. THROUGH GOVERNANCE, MANAGEMENT, DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP AND USE OF RESOURCES, BON SECOURS MERCY HEALTH INTENDS TO GIVE SUBSTANCE AND DIRECTION TO A DYNAMIC CATHOLIC HEALTH MINISTRY.
