THE MISSION OF THE TUOMEY FOUNDATION IS TO ENGAGE COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES OF PALMETTO HEALTH TUOMEY

The mission of the Foundation is to channel family and community compassion into philanthropic action that addresses the financial needs and the mission of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital through our four tenets: research, education, treatment, and advocacy for the children in our care.

THE KING'S DAUGHTERS HEALTH FOUNDATION IS AN ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITY. THE HEALTH FOUNDATION SUPPORTS KING'S DAUGHTERS MEDICAL CENTER (KDMC) IN ITS MISSION TO BE THE PREMIER HEALTHCARE PROVIDER IN THE TRI-STATE AREA. THE HEALTH FOUNDATION ALSO EXTENDS HEALTHCARE SERVICES IN OUR COMMUNITY, PROMOTES COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH AWARENESS THROUGH EDUCATION, AND PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS ENTERING HEALTHCARE-RELATED FIELDS.

THE HEART INSTITUTE AT STATEN ISLAND UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL OPENED IN 2001 AND IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT TAX ORGANIZATION UNDER CODE SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE HEART INSTITUTE IS NOT ITSELF A DIRECT PROVIDER OF CLINICAL OR MEDICAL SERVICES, BUT OVERSEES THE ADMINISTRATIVE, FINANCIAL, AND OPERATIONAL ASPECTS OF THE CARDIAC SERVICES PROVIDED TO LOCAL AREA HOSPITALS THROUGH JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN RICHMOND UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER AND STATEN ISLAND UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.

South Asian Mental Health Initiative and Network, SAMHIN, is a non-profit that addresses the mental health needs of the South Asian community in the U.S. Our goal is to decrease the stigma and shame associated with mental illness and offer resources for people who seek help

THE ORGANIZATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL OF THE AFFILIATES WITHIN ROCHESTER REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS AND ASSISTS THE AFFILIATES BY REVIEWING AND MONITORING THEIR MISSIONS, OBJECTIVES, ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES, AND ADVISING THEM WITH RESPECT TO THE SAME, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE COORDINATION OF THEIR MISSIONS, OBJECTIVES, ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES WITH EACH OTHER AND WITH THOSE OF REGIONAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, HEALTH CARE AGENCIES AND RELATED ORGANIZATIONS, ALL IN FUTHERANCE OF THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE AND ECONOMICAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN MONROE COUNTY, WAYNE COUNTY, ONTARIO COUNTY, GENESEE COUNTY AND ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, THE FINGER LAKES REGION AND ADJOINING AREAS OF NEW YORK STATE.
