Pediatric AIDS Chicago Prevention Initiative is dedicated to eliminating deaths from pediatric AIDS and to reducing the transmission of HIV from mothers to their children in the state of Illinois.

To promote the empowerment and independence of adults affected by mental illness or disorders with or without co-occurring substance-abuse by providing opportunity for social involvement, job skills, and self-directed recovery. The Gainesville Opportunity Center improves the lives of members and the greater Gainesville Community by 1) operating a work ordered day model that relies on the voluntary participation of its members; 2) supporting member employment and education; 3) developing innovative programs, research, and shared knowledge; 4) collaborating with others to inspire and teach about living with mental illness and disorders; and 5) advocating for people living with serious mental illness and disorders to improve perceptions and practices.

Ensures comprehensive health care of children 0-5 years of age by strenghtening families and cooordinating community resources through a public/private partnership.

The specific purpose of this corporation is to provide prescription eyeglasses and to help arrange vision and eye health care appointments with community eye care professionals for individuals who are otherwise unable to obtain assistance through private insurance, welfare, or other social services agencies.

Advocates for Disease Education, Inc (A4DE), is a nonprofit organization that strives in various formats to: - Promote healthy living to those affected by the most prevalent ailments that are affecting our communities - Provide disease awareness & education - Teach coping skills to victims & caretakers - Teach healthy cooking specific to the disease at hand - Provide the resources & assistance with getting the proper medical attention
