Brain tumors are now the leading cause of cancer deaths of children and young adults. The emotional and financial devastation it causes to families is unacceptable. The cure will eventually be found. We intend to speed up the process by speeding up the exchange of information - networking with the researchers, patient groups and other nonprofits; raising money for research; advocating for change; hosting conferences and running research projects. Until that happens, we will help support families dealing with brain tumors by educating them on the choices they have to make, help find options for them, and even help them get access to the treatments they need with both our advocacy program and our copayment assistance program
We're helping Bostonians lead healthier lives by promoting the everyday use of the bicycle for transportation. Among other things, we repair bikes, educate new riders, and organize neighborhood residents who would like to voice support for friendlier street designs, bike paths, and public spaces.
