We provide information, education, support and advocacy for people with hearing loss in Contra Costa, Eastern Alameda and Southern Solano counties. Hearing loss affects all parts of your life; communicating with loved ones, colleagues and friends; going to the grocery store, pharmacy, doctors appointment; and entertainment and sporting events. We help each other learn how to live functional lives with a difficult disability.

Founded in 1972, the Chinese Progressive Association educates, organizes and empowers the low income and working class immigrant Chinese community in San Francisco to build collective power with other oppressed communities to demand better living and working conditions and justice for all people.

We are an organization created by parents of children diagnosed with rare forms of Epilepsy and Autism as a result of a change in the SCN2A gene. Our vision is to find effective treatments and a cure for SCN2A related disorders. TAAF is dedicated to bettering the lives, support networks, and medical care of those affected by aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain. In support of that mission, we have three primary goals that guide foundation activities: Provide support, including information, resources and motivation, for people with aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain, their families, caregivers and friends. Promote education and awareness in the community regarding aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain. Provide encouragement and funding for research on aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain in an effort to advance patient treatment and care.

We Promote Health is a Howard County, Maryland based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Providing an opportunity for other wellness organizations and professionals, who share the same spirit of giving, a platform to improve lives through physical activity, nutrition and health education. 

OASIS provides support group services to adults coping with severe vision loss. OASIS provides information and referral services and community education seminars to disseminate information about vision loss and coping techniques.
