NephCure’s mission is to empower people with rare, protein-spilling kidney disease to take charge of their health, while leading the revolution in research, new treatments, and care.NephCure is a U.S. tax exempt 501(c)(3) public charity established in 2000.

The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation, affectionately known as SickKids Foundation, is the largest non-governmental granting agency in child health in Canada. Established in 1972, SickKids Foundation has granted over $300 million to The Hospital for Sick Children and over $60 million to researchers across the country. Through its National Grants Program, SickKids Foundation is the only granting program with a national, multi-year initiative to study two understudied but important areas of child health: the role of complementary and alternative health care and child health, and to study home care and children and youth. We have invested our community’s contributions in outstanding patient care, research and education. We believe there is no one else in Canada as dedicated as we are to eliminating the gap between what is happening in child health research, education and training, and what should be happening.

The mission of CaringKind, The Heart of Alzheimer's Caregiving (formerly known as Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter) is to create, deliver, and promote comprehensive and compassionate care and support services for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research. We achieve our mission by providing programs and services for individuals with dementia, their family and professional caregivers; increasing public awareness; collaborating with research centers; and informing public policy through advocacy.

In the past year, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, assisted approximately 28,000 neighbours in Waterloo Region. Yearly, The Food Bank distributes over 3 million pounds of food to community individuals who are facing challenging circumstances. Food is distributed through a partnership of 76 member agencies and community programs which provide emergency food hampers and meals. Project CASK believes in a world free of the life limitations and debilitating effects of CASK gene disorders, an ultra-rare and severe pediatric neurological disorder. Our mission is to accelerate research breakthroughs to develop treatments and a cure for CASK gene disorders and to improve the lives of those living with this ultra-rare disease everywhere around the world.

London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) is a charity accredited by Imagine Canada and the Better Business Bureau, dedicated to strengthening LHSC’s ability to provide the highest-quality health care to patients in London and throughout Southwestern Ontario. Donations to LHSF fund innovative equipment, research, education and enhanced patient care at LHSC, a teaching hospital and leader in medical research offering the broadest range of specialized clinical services in Ontario.

The Endometriosis Foundation of America strives to increase disease recognition, provide advocacy, facilitate expert surgical training, and fund landmark endometriosis research.
