We are the largest nonprofit dedicated to funding research aimed at treating and ultimately curing EB, a group of devastating and life-threatening genetic skin disorders that affect children from birth. Leading researchers say treatments and a cure for EB are within reach—for Shane, Ryan, Jackson, Michael, Jennifer and every other person suffering from this horrific condition. Though we have made significant progress, we need much greater resources in our pursuit of a cure.  

The National Association of the Deaf was established in 1880 by deaf leaders who believed in the right of the American deaf community to use sign language, to congregate on issues important to them, and to have its interests represented at the national level. These beliefs remain true to this day, with American Sign Language as a core value. The Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation is dedicated to funding research in the quest to understand the pathophysiology and biochemistry of Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) Spectrum Disorder. Our Foundation is passionate in its support of programs and opportunities aimed at elevating the clinical paradigm for NMO patients and improving options for treatment, prevention, and an eventual cure for this disease.

Wayfinder’s mission is to ensure that children, youth and adults facing challenges always have a place to turn. Founded in 1953 as the Foundation for the Junior Blind, we initially enabled blind and visually impaired children to lead fuller, more independent lives. Today, Wayfinder is a human services agency with expertise in child welfare, vision impairment and multiple disabilities. Across our programs, Wayfinder strives to achieve equity for all our clients, most of whom are low-income people of color. We serve nearly 20,000 children, youth, adults and family members annually. CEI is a provider of the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) which uses a care team to provide fully integrated medical and social services to frail seniors.
