From the website: "American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC) was founded by Danny Thomas in 1957 to be the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and its sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness necessary to operate and maintain the hospital. In the years ahead, an estimated 89% of the funds necessary to sustain and grow St. Jude must be raised by ALSAC from generous donors."

The NPCF (founded May 2009) strives to provide quality of life, sustainability and dignity to those we serve. Through our volunteers we provide an opportunity of hope and caring for those afflicted by this devastating disease. We also provide the opportunity for their family members to help fight one of the leading causes of cancer deaths in the United States. There is no known cure, however, there are new developments everyday to prolong and sustain the quality of life of the patient.

To maximize dollars available for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's most promising lifesaving research, treatment and prevention programs, while supporting the psychosocial needs of patients and families touched by cancer. Fundraising events and initiatives are carried out through a partnership between committed Roswell Park Alliance volunteers and Foundation staff.

Through volunteering and donations, Michelle's Love's Mission is to help relieve the stress of single parents undergoing cancer treatment. Our organization strives to ease daily responsibilities by offering housing payments, meals, and home cleanings, allowing parents more time to heal and spend with their children.

The pink wig stands for power – the power to live your life and not let cancer rule. Our mission is to provide a pink wig to cancer patients and survivors as a reminder to stay strong and live your life! We also raise awareness about the importance of genetic testing and funds for cancer genetic research.

We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child's serious illness. Since our founding in 1979, we have grown from a single location with room for eight families to four locations with 71 overnight rooms, a daily meal program that serves hundreds of day-use families and visitors, an on-site K-12 school, and age-appropriate programming to support all family members.

Gilda’s Club provides free social and emotional support for people affected by cancer through an evidence‑based clubhouse model. Its programs — professionally guided support groups, education, healthy‑lifestyle classes, social opportunities and information & referral — aim to reduce isolation and help members cope across the cancer journey.

Gilda’s Club Chicago provides free emotional, social, and educational support programs for anyone affected by cancer — patients, caregivers, family and friends — with the aim of reducing isolation and strengthening community through groups, workshops, and wellness activities.
