Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, is dedicated to providing support, education and hope to all people impacted by cancer, including family members and friends of those diagnosed. Free of charge to everyone, Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee’s evidence-based programming for men, women, children and families includes support groups, healthy lifestyle workshops, mind-body classes, social activities, educational lectures and community resource information. Offering approximately 70 professionally-led support and networking groups, and more than 80 educational workshops and lectures each month from two locations, Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee is able to make a tangible difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer. We build community, so no one has to face cancer alone. Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee mission is to ensure all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.

Founded in 2008, to eliminate racial, ethnic and class disparities in breast cancer outcomes so that every woman has an equal chance of surviving breast cancer.

We are committed to access and equity in pediatric cancer care. Our mission is to partner with pediatric cancer families to take the logistical stress out of finding a cure for their child.

HopeWell Cancer Support's mission is to create a community for all people with cancer, their families and friends, that encourages an exchange of information, the development of a support system, and the presence of hope.

We fund clinical trials for all types of cancers and prioritize only the most cutting-edge research that can help patients TODAY. Gateway invests in next generation patient-centric cancer research in order to drive transformational advances and breakthroughs in cancer treatment.

To reduce the burden of human cancer, research conducted at the Institute for Cancer Research of Fox Chase Cancer Center for over eight decades has led to ground-breaking discoveries affecting science and medicine today. Current research programs are wide-ranging and include gene expression; molecular aspects of oncogenesis; viral molecular biology and pathogenesis; molecular structure and function analysis; pharmacology and therapeutics; regulation and development of the immune system; cell-cycle control; and human genetics. Opportunities are available for postdoctoral fellowships and graduate training and for professionals interested in developing technology-based business relationships or partnerships with Fox Chase.

The mission of Pink Fund is to improve the lives of people in treatment for breast cancer through household bill payments, community engagement, and education.

The mission of the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance is to: Create an awareness regarding early warning signs that may be indicative of ovarian cancer. Create and promote resources for support, networking and education for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and their families. Unite and educate individuals, the medical community and organizations to achieve earlier diagnosis, better treatment and a cure for ovarian cancer. The purpose of the UC San Diego Foundation is to foster community support, promote philanthropic giving, invest and manage gift funds and assets, provide advice and counsel to the chancellor, and to act as advocates for the benefit of the University of California, San Diego campus, in accordance with applicable university policies, guidelines and procedures. The UC San Diego Foundation helps UC San Diego obtain private gifts (in support of research, teaching, and public service) and manages the gift assets. Moores Cancer Center's unique blend of cancer research and patient care is transforming cancer prevention, detection and treatment. Established in 1978, Moores Cancer Center at USCD is ranked among the top 50 oncology programs in the nation and is the San Diego region’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This designation is reserved for centers with the highest achievements in cancer research, clinical care, education and community contributions.
