The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) works to achieve an AIDS-free generation through innovative HIV prevention programs, efforts to eliminate stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS, and direct treatment, care and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS across the United States, The Americas, The Caribbean and others.

AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) is a non-profit organization recognized at both the national and local level for providing free basic needs services to people impacted by the devastating effects of HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles County. Founded by four friends in 1983, APLA is a community-based, volunteer-supported organization with the mission of: improving the lives of people affected by HIV disease; reducing the incidence of HIV infection; and advocating for fair and effective HIV-related public policy.

The Alliance for Aging Research advances scientific and medical discoveries to maximize healthy aging, independence and quality of life for older Americans. America's science, innovation and public spirit have the potential to avert the social and fiscal chaos that might otherwise accompany a "silver tsunami" of age-related diseases and lost productivity. The Alliance for Aging Research seeks to realize this potential and establish "healthy aging research" as a priority for our country as a whole. At Alzheimer's Family Services Center (AFSC), we believe that all memory-impaired seniors, irrespective of ethnic background and socioeconomic status, deserve the right to superior personalized care that will enable them to age with dignity at home. Across the last three decades, this belief has guided our mission to improve quality of life for families challenged by Alzheimer's disease or another dementia through services tailored to meet individual needs. We play a key role in our community's continuum of long-term care services by offering affordable access to dementia-specific adult day health care programs, a variety of support services to help caregivers manage the day-to-day challenges of care, and community dementia education and outreach.

The American Foundation for Children with AIDS (AFCA) is a non-profit organization providing critical comprehensive services to infected and affected HIV+ children and their caregivers. Our programs are efficient, promoting self-reliance and sustainability. Since 2005, in collaboration with our in-country partners, we have served tens of thousands of families in some of the most underserved and marginalized communities in Africa. Our areas of impact include: medical support, livelihoods, educational support and emergency relief. Currently, AFCA is transforming lives in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Soles4Souls is a global not-for-profit institution dedicated to fighting the devastating impact and perpetuation of poverty. Soles4Souls advances its anti-poverty mission by collecting new and used shoes and clothes from individuals, schools, faith-based institutions, civic organizations and corporate partners, then distributing those shoes and clothes both via direct donations to people in need and by provisioning qualified micro-enterprise programs designed to create jobs in poor and disadvantaged communities. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Soles4Souls is committed to the highest standards of operating and governance, and holds a four-star rating with Charity Navigator.Soles4Souls distributes shoes and clothing in two ways. Most new items collected primarily from corporations and retailers are given directly to people in need, both in the U.S. and overseas. The organization has relationships with several of the world's leading apparel brands, which provides Soles4Souls with new but non-marketable overstocks, returns, discontinued models and other shoes or clothing items.At the same time, Soles4Souls receives millions of articles of used shoes and clothing that have been collected by individuals, schools, faith-based institutions, civic organizations and corporate partners. After sorting items in its national warehouse system, Soles4Souls typically sells the used shoes and clothing, as well as some new items allocated by manufacturers, to carefully selected micro-enterprise organizations. These both private and non-profit companies are contracted to provide shipping, financing, inventory, training and other support to ultra-small businesses in countries like Haiti where there are virtually no jobs to generate personal income.Through the collection and sale of used (and new) clothing and shoes, Soles4Souls helps create self-sustaining jobs that generate desperately needed revenues throughout those communities. The sale of footwear and apparel to support micro-jobs also provides the majority of funding to sustain Soles4Souls operations and further expand its donations of new shoes and clothing.
