The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) champions the latest and most authoritative scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity, so that we can help people make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.

Samaritan Hospice provides specialized medical care and emotional support for people facing serious and progressive illness in the comfort of their homes or other residences. Samaritan offers an interdisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, home health aides, spiritual support coordinators, bereavement counselors and volunteers to help patients and their families live as fully and comfortably as possible through individualized plans of symptom management and emotional support. Services are provided regardless of financial circumstances. Samaritan has been an innovative provider of hospice care since its inception in 1980. It is now one of the 15 largest providers of hospice care in the country. It has cared for more patients than any other hospice in the Middle Atlantic States and remains on the cutting edge of hospice care.

The Seeing Eye is a philanthropic organization whose mission is to enhance the independence, dignity and self-confidence of blind people through the use of Seeing Eye dogs.

Huntsman Cancer Institute’s mission is to understand cancer from its beginnings, to use that knowledge in the creation and improvement of cancer treatments, to relieve the suffering of cancer patients, and to provide education about cancer risk, prevention, and care.

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF), a major voluntary nonprofit health organization, is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by kidney disease and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation. The NKF is ranked in the top 1% of socially responsible brands and meets the standards of the Wise Giving Alliance of the Better Business Bureau where 80% of every dollar raised goes directly to programs and services. 

All Hands and Hearts provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. We are an organization committed to effectively and efficiently addressing the immediate and long-term needs of global communities impacted by disasters. All Hands and Hearts arrives early for first response and stays late to rebuild schools and homes in a disaster-resilient way.

SOME (So Others Might Eat) is an interfaith, community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation's capital. We meet the immediate daily needs of the people we serve with food, clothing and health care. We help break the cycle of homelessness by offering services, such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor the elderly and individuals with mental illness.

With the success of the Salk vaccine in the mid 1950s, the March of Dimes turned its focus on birth defects, low birth weight and infant death. Over the past 75 years, March of Dimes' cutting edge research and innovative programs have saved millions of babies from death or disability. We are committed to educating medical professionals and the public, supporting research, providing comfort and support to families in NICUs, and advocating for moms and babies. Stand Up To Cancer’s (SU2C) mission is to raise funds to accelerate the pace of groundbreaking translational research that can get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives now. SU2C brings together the best and the brightest researchers and mandates collaboration among the cancer community. By galvanizing the entertainment industry, SU2C has set out to generate awareness, educate the public on cancer prevention and help more people diagnosed with cancer become long-term survivors. Stand Up To Cancer is an initiative of the Entertainment Industry Foundation.
