Our mission: Save more lives by fueling the discovery and development of powerful immunotherapies for all types of cancer. After decades of investigation, scientists have unlocked the power of our body's own immune system to fight cancer. This class of treatments—called cancer immunotherapy—enhances a patient's immune system to identify and eliminate cancer cells, anywhere in the body. Established in 1953, the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to saving more lives by fueling the discovery and development of powerful immunotherapies for all types of cancer. We fund the most innovative clinical and laboratory research around the world, support the next generation of the field's leaders, and serve as the trusted source of information on immunotherapy for cancer patients and their caregivers. CRI's programs provide strategic support along the entire pathway of discovery, drug development, and patient support.

Fox Chase's mission is to reduce the burden of human cancer through the pursuit of knowledge in basic biological research; to conduct research specifically related to cancer causes, prevention, and treatment; and to apply this knowledge to the prevention of cancer and the treatment of cancer patients. Fox Chase has the oldest and third-largest cancer center support grant from the National Cancer Institute and is the oldest cancer specialty hospital in the nation. In January 2000, Fox Chase opened the nation's first facility devoted to comprehensive cancer prevention research. To support medical RESEARCH for finding effective treatments and eventually a cure for melanoma. To EDUCATE patients and physicians about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of melanoma. To act as an ADVOCATE for the melanoma community to raise awareness of this disease and the need for a cure.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to children and their families coping with cancer, sickle cell anemia, and other serious illnesses. Through summer sessions and family weekends at the Camp in Ashford, Connecticut and year-round outreach to hospitals and clinics across the Northeast, the Camp serves more than 20,000 children and family members annually. All services are provided free of charge.

The Kidney Cancer Association's mission is to be a global community dedicated to serving and empowering patients and caregivers, and leading change through advocacy, research, and education. Our vision is to be the universal leader in finding the cure for kidney cancer.

To improve the care of patients with gynecologic cancer, to advance knowledge and raise standards of practice in Gynecologic Oncology, to encourage research in Gynecologic Oncology, and, to cooperate with other individuals and organizations interested in oncology and related fields

Guide Dogs for the Blind provides enhanced mobility to qualified individuals through partnership with dogs whose unique skills are developed and nurtured by dedicated volunteers and a professional staff. Established in 1942, Guide Dogs for the Blind continues its dedication to quality student training services and extensive follow-up support for graduates. Our programs are made possible through the teamwork of staff, volunteers and generous donors. Services are provided to students from the United States and Canada at no cost to them.

The Jed Foundation works nationally to promote emotional health and prevent suicide in student populations. To achieve this end, the organization collaborates with the public and leaders in higher education, mental health, and research to produce and advance initiatives that: Decrease the stigma surrounding emotional disorders and increase help-seeking in college and other student populations Increase understanding of the warning signs of suicide and the symptoms of emotional disorders among students Build awareness of the prevalence of suicide and emotional disorders among students Strengthen campus mental health services, policies, and programs

Our mission is to provide high-quality, accessible mental health services to empower children, young adults, and families in the Chicago area. This will be accomplished through collaboration with local communities to identify the services they need, the building of a therapeutic milieu, and a focus on connection. We firmly believe in the idea of inclusivity and aim to maintain diversity of staff and clients as a priority.
