Founded in 1991, the Southwest Environmental Center (SWEC) works to restore and protect native wildlife and their habitats in the southwestern borderlands through public education, grassroots advocacy and on-the-ground restoration projects. We have 4 staff members (3 full-time and 1 part-time), 2 work studies through NMSU and a large cadre of motivated volunteers.

The Santa Fe Conservation Trust partners with our community to keep northern New Mexico’s living lands and people flourishing together. The Center for Whale Research is dedicated to the study and conservation of the Southern Resident killer whale (orca) population in the Pacific Northwest. Since 1976 the Center for Whale Research (CWR) has been the leading organization studying the Southern Resident killer whales in their critical habitat: the Salish Sea. CWR performs health assessments to ensure the viability of the whale population, informing elected officials of their ecosystem needs, and sharing the whales’ story with the world. Our 43 years of research has created the only long-term data set about the behavior, health, and social dynamics of the Southern Resident killer whales.

Wild Fish Conservancy seeks to improve conditions for all of the Northwest’s wild fish by conducting important research (http://wildfishconservancy.org/about/what-we-do/science/research-and-monitoring/research-and-monitoring) on wild-fish populations and habitats; advocating (http://wildfishconservancy.org/about/what-we-do/advocacy/advocacy) for better land-use, harvest, and hatchery management; and developing model restoration(http://wildfishconservancy.org/about/what-we-do/science/habitat-restoration/test) projects. We are dedicated solely to the needs of wild fish, and don’t represent the interests of any specific user groups.

Our mission is to conserve and steward Oregon's wetlands in partnership with communities. For more than 40 years, The Wetlands Conservancy has educated and assisted landowners, neighborhood groups, land trusts, and watershed councils on local stewardship to support fish and wildlife, clean water, open space and people's appreciation of nature.

Crag is a client-focused law center that supports community efforts to protect and sustain the Pacific Northwest’s natural legacy. Implementing a unique model of legal aid for the environment, Crag balances the scales of justice by offering our clients free or low-cost legal services in combination with assistance on campaign strategies, communications, community organizing and media relations.

Western Rivers Conservancy protects outstanding river ecosystems in the western United States. We acquire land to conserve critical habitat, provide public access for compatible use and enjoyment, and cooperate with other agencies and organizations to secure the health of whole ecosystems.

California Waterfowl is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to grow California's waterfowl populations, wetlands and hunter-conservationist communities. Our vision is a California with thriving waterfowl populations, vibrant wetland ecosystems and respected hunting communities.

The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association educates, inspires, and engages the community to take action to keep wild salmon here for future generations.

The mission of Wild Salmon Center is to conserve the healthiest wild salmon, steelhead, and trout ecosystems across the North Pacific. We identify the strongest habitat and populations -- what we call "strongholds" for wild fish -- and preemptively protect them for the benefit of the people, wildlife, and jobs that rely on wild salmon to thrive.

We value the importance of traditional Hawaiian fishponds. We believe in revitalizing and preserving Ko`ie`ie Fishpond for future generations to enjoy its historical, cultural, archaeological, educational and recreational purposes.
