The Celebration of the Sea Foundation works to ENGAGE, EDUCATE and INSPIRE people around the world to protect the ocean and the world’s natural resources. A specific focus of all our initiatives is to develop resilient communities and promote STREAM (Science, Technology, Resiliency, Engineering, Arts & Music) education and career paths.

The Green Burial Association of Maryland (GBAM) promotes environmentally sustainable Green Burial options throughout Maryland. We support this Mission through public education, promotion of and legislative advocacy for green and hybrid burial grounds, and promoting green practices throughout the funeral industry. We envision a future in which everyone has access to funeral and burial options that are environmentally sustainable and grounded in evidence-based information.

Potomac Conservancy safeguards the lands and waters of the Potomac River and its tributaries and connects people to this national treasure.

Vision: A healthy & thriving Severn River for present and future generations.Mission: We engage the local community with the Severn River and its tributaries through advocacy, education and restoration.Our programs focus areas:ADVOCATE – to build a broader and more diverse community of stewards to meet the growing needs of an expanding population, while conserving the Severn River’s health. EDUCATE - learners of all ages about one of the most biodiverse tracts of land, rivers, and trails, in the country, the Scenic Severn River and its watershed. RESTORE – Mother Nature’s water treatment plants – oysters and underwater grasses. With volunteers and partners we are re-establishing the processes necessary to support our River’s natural habitat.

PROVIDE PERMANENT HOME FOR PRIMATES, FEDERALLY LICENSED FACILITY, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE FOR WILDLIFE

Founded in 2001, ACORE is a 501 (c)(3) national non-profit organization that unites finance, policy and technology to accelerate the transition to a renewable energy economy. We are the focal point for collaborative advocacy across the renewable energy sector, supported by hundreds of members spanning renewable energy technologies and constituencies, including developers, manufacturers, top financial institutions, major corporate renewable energy buyers, grid technology providers, utilities, professional service firms, colleges & universities, government agencies and allied non-profit groups.

Established in 1961, the Ruffed Grouse Society is North America's foremost conservation organization dedicated to preserving our sporting traditions by creating healthy forest habitat for Ruffed Grouse, American woodcock and other wildlife. RGS works with landowners and government agencies to develop critical habitat utilizing scientific management practices.

We work to protect the public’s right to clean water in the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers. We stop pollution to promote safe drinking water, protect healthy river habitats, and enhance public use and enjoyment.

We oversee a museum where people can learn about Ocracoke Island's history and culture; a library where visitors can conduct research on the island and on personal genealogies; and a meeting place for discussing related issues. We sponsor community activities, encourage the various arts in individuals and the community, and publish island writing by local authors.

Blue Ridge Conservancy partners with landowners and local communities to permanently protect natural resources with agricultural, cultural, recreational, ecological and scenic value in northwest North Carolina.

THE CONSERVANCY HAS BEEN ORGANIZED TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROMOTING THE PRESERVATION OF THE HISTORIC LAWNS OF THE ROSEDALE ESTATE FOR USE BY OR EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

WE WANT THE LAND COALITION, INC. (“WWTLC”) is a recognized nonprofit organization in the state of Michigan whose mission is to provide women and girls with unique programs, events, and experiences that celebrate women’s history, promote healing and empowerment, build women’s community, and encourage education and growth.
