Since our founding in 1991 by former Vermont Governor Madeleine M. Kunin and current ISC President George Hamilton, ISC has led transformative, community-driven projects across the globe. Over the years, we have developed an approach that supports a community’s ability to meet challenges head on.

The Climate Trust promotes climate change solutions by providing high quality greenhouse gas offset projects and advancing sound offset policy.

California Trout's mission is to ensure healthy waters and resilient, wild fish for a better California. Our belief is that abundant wild fish indicate healthy waters and that healthy waters mean a better California. As such, we work to solve the state's complex resource issues while balancing the needs of wild fish and people

AQUACULTURE RESEARCH - The purpose of the Oceanic Institute is for the advancement and extension of research in all of the fields and areas of marine sciences generally and to engage in, assist and contribute to the support of scientific, educational, and charitable activities and projects, and to contribute to the support of, and to create and maintain scientific, educational and charitable institutions, organizations and funds of any and every kind.

Our goal is to improve the degraded water quality of the marine waters off the New Jersey/New York coast. Clean Ocean Action will identify the sources of pollution and mount an attack on each source by using research, public education, and citizen action to convince our public officials to enact and enforce measures which will clean up and protect our ocean.

The River Project is a marine science field station founded in 1986 at Pier 26 in Tribeca, on the lower west side of Manhattan, in New York City. The River Project works to protect and restore the ecosystem of the Hudson River estuary through scientific research, hands-on environmental education, and urban habitat improvement.

For over 30 years, NYC Outward Bound Schools has been transforming schools and changing lives by bringing out the best in students, teachers and school leaders throughout the City. We transform schools and change lives by bringing our educational approach to NYC’s young people and their public schools, with a focus on students from educationally underserved communities. Our uniquely powerful approach joins together demanding and engaging learning with an emphasis on community and character. We prepare students for success in college, careers, and citizenship, while simultaneously working to redefine what educational excellence looks like in New York City’s public schools. Every day, we are proving that all students, regardless of background or circumstance, are capable of achieving at high levels and that transformation and innovation can happen within the public school system.

The Solar Electric Light Fund (SELF) uses the power of the sun to fight poverty and climate change. Energy access is at the root of some of our biggest global inequities—from education to food security to public health. SELF works with communities around the world to establish solar projects, with a focus on environmental justice, community ownership, and scalable outcomes.

Taxpayers for Common Sense is a nonpartisan budget watchdog serving as an independent voice for American taxpayers. Our mission is to  achieve a government that spends taxpayer dollars responsibly and operates within its means.

Austin Parks Foundation partners with our community to enhance people’s lives by making our public parks, trails and green spaces better through volunteerism, innovative programming, advocacy and financial support.
