Clean Islands International - environment

We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 that strives to promote the responsible enjoyment of the Gold Butte National Monument through education, stewardship, advocacy, and preservation of natural and cultural resources.

Founded by world-renowned conservationist Lawrence Anthony in 2003, our mission is to reverse the decline of the natural world, upon which all life depends for its survival.  Through education and the implementation of effective solutions, we help people increase their understanding that none of us survive alone - that all life does best when it works together with other life. This better connects everyone with the natural world, resulting in more constructive problem solving. As industry, governments, communities and individuals adopt this way of thinking and working, the world is better protected and restored.

The mission of Transition Town Media is to build resilience in all sectors of the Greater Media PA community. We support and create local programs and initiatives using educational outreach and charitable community projects to address such issues as: strengthening the local economy, re-localizing food sources, conserving energy, and building greater community connectedness.

We are an international think tank that provides Ecological Footprint accounting tools to drive informed policy decisions in a resource-constrained world. We work with local and national governments, investors, and opinion leaders to ensure all people live well, within the means of one planet.

NRA Special Contribution Fund provides education and training in firearms safety, marksmanship, and wildlife conservation. The Whittington Center was built near Raton, New Mexico to expand educational, recreational, and shooting activities. The Whittington Center is open to all members of the public.

Wilderness Inquriy's (WI) mission is to create a more inclusive, socially integrated world through shared outdoor education and adventure programs that connect people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. For 35 years, WI has provided inclusive, transformative outdoor experiences for more than 350,000 people. The organization connects people to the natural world and to each other, inspiring personal growth, environmental stewardship, and strong communities.
