Raising Expectations empowers youth in crises by elevating academic, social, and civic expectations to facilitate high school graduation and post-secondary plans.

Our mission is to improve the health of homeless animals and increase their chances for survival and adoption. Our ultimate aim is to eliminate animal homelessness and euthanasia. This promotes more humane treatment of animals, increasing their chances of survival and adoption. We:• Provide donated comfort and care items to shelters, rescue groups, pets of the homeless, pets of low-income seniors, pets of veterans, animal transports, fosters and wildlife sanctuaries.• Advocate for animal welfare through service-oriented humane education & public awareness anti-cruelty campaigns.• Raise awareness of the growing population of homeless animals being euthanized in overcrowded shelter systems, promoting adoption as the best option.

The Children's Museum of Richmond (CMoR), a non-profit organization, exists to create innovative learning experiences for all children and those who support them that inspire the next generation of creative problem solvers.

The mission of One Voice is to provide goods, services and opportunities to the underprivileged, including everything from crisis intervention to long-term programming designed to lift families out of poverty, while providing avenues for those more fortunate to become involved in helping families in need

World University & School's mission (http://worlduniversityandschool.org - like Wikipedia with MIT Open Course Ware), in reaching out to the entire world, is to provide a free, wiki-based education platform for knowledge generation, and, through facilitating the development of broadband worldwide, to make our service accessible to under served parts of the world. The WUaS mission is thus to facilitate all levels of teaching and learning opportunities (and future degrees) through an open, editable wiki in all languages, nation-states and subjects with great universities, and for One Laptop per Child countries and everyone.

The Possible Project utilizes entrepreneurship to inspire young people who have untapped potential, empowering them with the skills required to achieve enduring personal and professional success. We guide our students through a novel dynamic curriculum, hands-on work experience, and assistance with entrepreneurial endeavors and career goals. We strive to have all our students use their skills to move through a high-level career path and improve their communities while remaining committed to the principle that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

The Keep A Breast Foundation™ is a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower young people around the world with breast health education and support.

Our mission is to facilitate youth participation and intergenerational partnership in global decision-making; to support collaboration among diverse youth organizations; and to provide tools, resources, and recognition for positive youth action.

Girls Write Now (GWN) provides a safe and supportive environment where girls can expand their natural writing talents, develop independent creative voices, and build confidence in making healthy choices in school, career and life. GWN provides at-risk New York City high school girls with emerging writing talent an opportunity to be custom-matched with a professional woman writer who serves as her personal mentor and writing coach, meeting with her weekly for the duration of an entire school year, and for up to four years. GWN also enrolls each student in a vibrant writing community; all mentees and mentors gather monthly for genre-based group writing workshops conducted at our brand-new offices in midtown Manhattan. The year is punctuated by three annual readings, college and career prep seminars, field trips to cultural events, and endless opportunities for scholarships and publication.

The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools transforms schools to revolutionize school systems, empowering all students with a high-quality education. All young people, regardless of race, ethnicity or zip code, have the right to a high-quality K-12 education--one that builds the skills, knowledge and resilience needed to complete a four-year college and gain greater economic mobility. As an in-district school operator, we manage a network of 20 high-need schools (TK-12) that remain part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Through innovative programs and practices, we accelerate the achievements of low-income students of color, represented by our 13,500 network students. We seek equity for students across Los Angeles by modeling success and advocating LA Unified to adopt our solution.

To improve global health by improving access to quality emergency care in the developing world, through developing sustainable, scalable, locally derived emergency care training programs, and collaborating with local and national organizations to create horizontal emergency care health systems.
