826CHI is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Our services are structured around the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with individualized attention, and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success. 826CHI is dedicated to amplifying the voices of Chicago youth. We encourage the exploration of endless possibility through the power of writing for students, for teachers, and for communities.

Our vision is a world where home is the first school and our mission is to enrich, enhance and empower home education in the community for all students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in a nurturing Christian environment. The specific purpose of this organization shall be to: encourage students to achieve academically through scholarships, programs and workshops. provide field trips, summer camps and other extra-curricular activities to extend experiences beyond the classroom. feature monthly topics to educate teachers and keep them up to date on trends in education. create a center equipped with a resource library, a teacher’s workroom, a science lab, computer lab, garden, as well as an indoor and outdoor play area. empower parents to be on the front lines of their child’s education through programs.

The Cove will provide a safe space and nurturing environment to unaccompanied homeless youth and their families in order to attain success with academic, social and career development that will position them to thrive as young adults.

Breakthrough Collaborative is a network of 24 affiliates across the US. Breakthrough addresses education inequity by innovating at three critical points:1. We increase academic opportunity for highly motivated middle-school and high-school students, putting them on the path to college.2. We offer leadership opportunities for professional educators who serve as instructional coaches for our teaching fellows.Since our founding in 1978, Breakthrough has served more than 40,000 students and teachers.

CAPE increases students’ academic success, critical thinking and creativity through research-based arts driven education.

The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) has a successful history of contributing to the scientific leadership of this country. CEE was founded in 1983 by the late Admiral H. G. Rickover, the father of the nuclear navy and of civilian uses of nuclear power and Joann DiGennaro, CEE's President. They recognized that the nurturing of careers of excellence and leadership in science and technology in young scholars is an essential investment in our national and global future. CEE is a private, (501)(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that provides cost-free programs to its student scholars through collaboration with educational institutions, private foundations, corporations and government agencies who share a commitment to educational excellence and leadership in science and technology. Central to all of CEE's programs is the understanding that talent in scientific and mathematical disciplines achieves its greatest fulfillment of promise when it is nurtured from an early age. All programs are designed to provide the ongoing nurturing that will assure that the nation and the world benefit from the future leadership that will come from fulfillment of the promise shown by the students accepted to participate.
