Based in the Triangle area of North Carolina, BTF grew all across the US over two decades, with many regional giving circles, and today has individual donors and supporting communities in all parts of the globe. Our focus areas are: Enabling equality and equity in education Improving physical and mental health with an emphasis on future generations Disaster relief, recovery and resilience Preservation of natural life and enivronmental sustainability Our simple and shared vision is to unite people and give back as a community. Commonsense Childbirth's clinic mission is to ensure access to timely maternity healthcare particularly for minority, low-income, uninsured, and underinsured women; and to provide practical, social, educational and emotional support, resources and referrals as a means to improving the chances for a positive pregnancy outcome.Our vision is that all women have a healthy baby. A priority focus for this program is to increase the number of women who receive medical care, education and referrals from their first trimester onwards, carry their babies to full term, have babies weighing greater than 5lbs 8ozs, bond well to their babies and start and succeed at breast feeding.

Our mission is to make renewable energy technology and job training accessible to underserved communities. We bring together community partners, volunteers, and job trainees to implement solar power and energy efficiency for low-income families, providing energy cost savings, valuable hands-on experience, and a source of clean, local energy that benefits us all.

ChathamSTEM is a network of parents, professionals, students and educators whose goal is to promote excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (“STEM”) education. We are dedicated to partnering with local schools and other organizations to create and enhance STEM-oriented educational opportunities as part of students' paths towards college and career readiness, and to develop effective STEM programs and initiatives that engage students and educators. JerseySTEM is also committed to bridging the gender gap in STEM education and sharing STEM-related opportunities with underprivileged students and communities.
