Community Voices Heard is an organization of low income people, mostly women on welfare and public housing residents, working together to improve the lives of our members' families and all poor people in New York City and State. We are directed, run and being built by low-income people. We are a growing grass roots organization that uses public education, public policy research, community organizing, leadership development, voter education & mobilization, and direct action issue organizing to build our membership and to organize around issues that are defined by our membershiwe broadly define "welfare activism" to be multi issue, and thus must include issues such as education, training, jobs, housing, economic development and other community issues. We fill a critical gap in that our organization connects public policy with grass roots organizing and leadership development.

A.L.I.V.E. Milwaukee is a unique organization fostering a variety of achievement skills for youngsters in business, arts, professional development and educational attainment. It grows out of the proven experience of its supporters to dramatically improve the lives of youth in Greater Milwaukee. A.L.I.V.E. has functioned since 2012 in Milwaukee but its organizational design and structure have been effective for well over a decade in both local and national initiatives.

The Wausau Conservatory of Music provides exceptional music education and performances that enrich the lives of students, families, faculty, and the community.

Sunrise Movement Education Fund supports young people to make climate change an urgent priority across America and expose the corruption of fossil fuel executives on our politics.

Their mission is to partner with people in Haiti to educate as many children as possible, provide healthcare to the children in the school, and to help their Haitian sisters and brothers to help themselves to provide safe drinking water to help break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their children. Education, healthcare, clean water and sanitation will help the Haitians improve their lives.

The Center for Economic Inclusion a cross-sector organization committed to strengthening the Minneapolis-St. Paul region’s civic infrastructure and collective capacity to disrupt systems and influence market forces to catalyze shared prosperity and advance an inclusive economy.

VA CIVICS PROMOTES CONSTITUTIONAL LITERACY,CRITICAL THINKING,AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS IN VIRGINIA. IN PURSUIT OF THIS MISSION, VA CIVICS SPONSORS THE WE THE PEOPLE: THE CITIZEN AND THE CONSTITUTION PROGRAM AND THE PROJECT CITIZEN PROGRAM IN VIRGINIA. IN SUPPORTING THESE CURRICULA, VA CIVICS PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR TEACHERS, TEACHING RESOURCES, CLASSROOM SUPPORT, AND RUNS THE ANNUAL REGIONAL AND STATE WE THE PEOPLE COMPETITIONS.
